I think the OP's opinion is turrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible....
Walton spent the beginning of tonight's game non-stop talking up the Pac-12. He was just talking about the biosphere or something when his broadcasting partner told Walton that he was causing fans to switch their TV to the X-games.
Thanks for the advice. I've added that to the list with the yellow snow.
The problem is when people take him seriously, even he doesn't do that.
But there is a certain train wreck quality to his broadcasts that make them entertaining.
I actually really like Walton's commentary. And I couldn't care less if he is a PAC-12 homer, because those are the games he has been calling when I have watched.
I had just left it on, wasn't watching, while I did some other stuff. The beginning homer-ism with the PAC-12 was really a bore, but the biosphere stuff might've been really entertaining
I think he is awesome.
Walton is like your favorite drunk uncle at Thanksgiving. Most of the time, his rants are pure comedic gold. But occasionally, he loses control and you hope the children are in the other room.
Bob Knight.... painful
I love Walton. I wish he did all of our games. Last night he was talking about the edge of the 'biosphere.' The guy is pure gold.
Walton went to as many Grateful Dead concerts as Wilt screwed women. Howe can you not like the guy?
Bill is the example that says that MJ just might be a performance enhancing drug.
