It was just a little shot at the small group of people who claim that we
get no attention and that the ESPN folks hate us.

Which by they way is still true. I just tuned to the FSU-Duke game for 30 seconds and neither announcer mentioned Florida at all, even though we beat FSU this year and Duke in 2000. It was like we weren't even a part of the game, they way they deftly avoided mentioning us.

Well, see, there it is. The institutional media bias.

I thought walker was already freed by the NCAA... He's still ineligible?

I wonder if they'll even explain why he's not eligible.

Doesn't look like it judging by what he have (not) heard so far. Maybe at the end of the season when it's too late to do him, or the team, any good.

Yeah. How quickly these announcers forget! There really needs to be more analysis of our 2000 team during ACC league games. Oh well, maybe they will mention us during the UVA/BC game Tuesday night on ESPNU. :D

If y'all are expecting Foley to do anything like take a public stand in favor if Walker, you are very new or naive.

Very disappointing that Florida has done nothing to help this situation. Foley should be hitting ESPN, Fox and many other sports outlets daily to force the NCAA to explain what is going on.

Exactly. Mr. soft and senile is too focused on coming in 2nd again for the Director's cup.

NCAA is too busy squeezing out every dime they can out of their product, while players are helping them pad their bottom line. Why would they waste their time trying to look out for a player's best interests?

Is it possible that one of the schools that CW turned down called in a "favor"? TBH, this whole thing is looking like a criminal conspiracy to deny UF the advantage of having CW play. I'm talking serious Mafia-type stuff. This has gone so far beyond the pale that it's ludicrous.

Not sure what grounds there would be for a law suit. Florida is a volunteer member of the NCAA. Kids aren't guaranteed to be able to play in college. Matt Ramaker is a major DB for putting Chris all for his own self promotion. He is now an agent. By the way Chris is projected in the top 10-15 in the draft so this is not hurting him or his employment potential.

Or having a top 5 basketball team but don't let that get in your way.

The college B ball blue bloods still cannot stomach that we are a powerhouse.CW would put us over the top better than the rest.

There needs to be a very public investigation into this whole thing.

The lawsuit would have to come from Walker. This is the kind of thing that could really hurt the NCAA but that we'll probably never see in basketball. When his other option is waiting 6 months till the draft, a long expensive lawsuit that might not even work just isn't that appealing.
