Teddy is going to try to get as much time with these guys as possible in the offseason. Mike lives in Tampa where Teddy lives so he gets lots of time with him. The plan is to get Kasey and Mike together to work on their interplay and shooting mechanics. Several players and former players come to Tampa and spend a few days working out with him. Alex Tyus was here working with him during a recent break. It all depends on what kind of time they can make individually and as a group.

Thanks Osiris. Yes, Other than Frazier and the graduated Wilbekin, none of this year's Gators shot the 3 with much consistency.

During tonight's game I told my dad. . . I kinda expected a rough season. He was incredulous, as he knows me as the eternal Gator basketball optimist.
So I dug the archives and proved it to myself . . .

    Call me Nostradamus.

In this case--- I really, really, really do hate to say "I told ya so".

I think many thought an "adjustment period" was possible, as often tends to happen after losing a core group of leaders. I doubt you (or anyone) expected total ineptitude in the front court, especially once Murphy became eligible provide that extra body. Of course the optimism expressed in this thread was also before Harris had blown his last chance to ever play at Florida - if he had his head on straight it might have made all the difference in having just that one competent post man.

C'mon . . . in this miserable season cant you just give me a pat on the back and say, 'You nailed man. Unfortunately, you nailed it."?? :)

Heck, my rebuttal to the more optimistic fans sounds like its straight out of Gator basketball Book of Revelations!

"Hill has shown very little perimeter ability. DFS has been far too inconsistent to generate much confidence. Frazier is excellent when open, but struggles to get into that position
often enough.... and will be increasingly focused on with Wilby gone. Walker is obviously extremely raw with limited
offensive arsenal. Graham shot horrendously in his debut season. Murphy, Carter and Harris are promising..... But have their question marks."

So if these same players come back and take their game to another level next year can I get a pat on the back in 2016?

We also thought we were going to have Harris, not that he was much of an offensive threat, but we sorely miss his rebounding.

DFS has been as consistent as possible considering his injury, but otherwise spot on.

You tell me . . .here is my passage:

"...from deep in the pines shall emerge a lowly leader, one who is both revered and besmirched. In the city of criminals he shall tip the balance in enemy's favor, but the goat shall rise again to dutifully serve. His knowledge shall exalt him above others more suited but less prepared for battle."
