Wow. that is significant. I wonder about Florida? BCBS and United Health Care are the biggees. If they choose not to participate, one must wonder if these "so called" good rates we have heard about elsewhere are because of limitations placed on pricing?

That's because the states know that this abomination of legislation is going to implode and they are basically telling BO to shove it and do it himself if he likes it that much.

well, I do believe that for the States who set them up, eventually the entire cost will be transferred to the State-I cannot seem to find anything that tells me if the feds have actually set up the exchanges in the states who refused to do so-of course they have until Oct 1st to get it done-anyone else have any doubts as to how this is going to work out

I went to the federal exchange website www.healthcare.gov and answered a few questions and this is the response I received. I'm self employed and provide coverage for myself and small biz employees.

    The Health Insurance Marketplace

You may be eligible to get quality health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace. But based on the information you provided, you probably won’t qualify to save money on your monthly premiums or out-of-pocket costs. You'll find out for sure when you apply for coverage starting October 1, 2013.

Won't save money. Shocking. Just shocking.
