This has never been an issue in the past. Fans haven't been as motivated recently.
There were empty seats in the upper deck last season when Alabama played Texas A&M. This attendance issue isn't isolated to UF, although Bianchi's whiny ass would love for you to think otherwise.
Well @toledorockets kept telling us they sold their allotment. He said they would be there.
They were not there...He is not here....*crickets*
This dazzling post was sent via my Samsung Galaxy Tablet using jet packs custom built for Gator Country.
The problem is not a "Gator" problem. And it is cheaper and more reasonable time for me to go to Baton Rouge, Tuscaloosa, Starkville, and Auburn than it is for me to go to Gainesville from where I live.
Bianchi is as irrelevant as a gnat on a water buffalo. He's been reduced to writing articles he hopes will somehow be inflammatory in hopes of generating clicks. As he writes more and more whiny articles, the more he's viewed as a whiner rather than a sportswriter.
Bad press contributes to the problem. If you are not part of the solution......

Toledo asked for & used 800 tickets for today's game according to UF officials.
95 percent capacity is great for a game like this
It should be negative rep and a temporary ban anytime someone wants to post a bianchi article on here.
Clearly, the unofficial rule on the site hasn't been working.
Since it's pretty well-known he reads this site, I never miss an opportunity to tell him what a low-rent worthless waste of oxygen he is.
Because he's a douchebag.
I'm a season ticket holder. I skipped the game. Too hot. Too boring. Glad I stayed home.
Back in the day, early season home games were always night-time kickoffs. FANS MATTERED. We've sold out to TV money, and the fans no longer matter.
He writes in the sports section, right? That (ostensibly) makes him a sportswriter. I would think a sportswriter would write an article for his sports section about the game. If the little tard really wants to be an arts & leisure section writer or a lifestyle section writer, then he's well on his way.
Not by Bianchi. He's not looking for a solution. He's looking to create a load of sh!# in order to gain page hits. He's part of the problem. Buck Fianchi.
That's why my ticket went unused. Couldn't even give it away.
Why do we care about his opinion? All he does is stir the pot, and posters on here give him hits.
Well I don't care about his opinion, but when I picked up a sun sentinel to read about the game, his article was on the front of the sports section, while the game story was back on page 3. Seems like odd priorities to me. Reminds me of the old days in miami, when georgia boy Edwin pope ran the herald s sports pages.
sportswriters criticizing fans for not coming to games in 95 degree heat---funny stuff. writers get comped tickets, parking, meals, drinks, sit in air conditioned luxury during the game, with big screen TVs all around---then look down and wonder why more fans didn't come to the game---classic.
Absolutely. I e-mailed him and asked if he interviewed "Mr. Empty Seat" about his experience at the UCF game, since he was clearly there, too. No response.
Yup, it will not be like this next year.
Prices will come down the issue will self correct just like any other market.
I find it funny that we dogged on FSU fans for their excuses for not selling out and we are now coming up with the same excuses.
could be worse, we could complain out our passing game again
