I just don't see how you can talk about anything other than the QB.
What do you want, 6 interceptions?
The kid doesn't have it, or at least he hasn't shown it.

We don't need to respect Miami because Miami didn't win this ball game. Our redzone offense handed them a victory because of play calling and mistakes.

I would if Miami forced most of our turnovers.

The fact is, without the stupid mistakes this is likely a UF blowout.

I think a lot of folks predicting a Gator win in this game said Miami was to be respected, I did too on several occasions.

We did massive damage to ourselves in this game that I for one never thought we would be capable of after seeing it in two games last year (UGA and UL). I understand bad games happen from time to time, but honestly, this was just a complete brain-fart of a game.

I won't delve too much into the coaching aspect of it right now while so many Gator fans are mad and disappointed though. Not the right time.

Just like Florida didn't REALLY beat USCe last year? That they handed us the victory? Are you willing to admit that?

So did I. In my predictions, I predicted a comfortable Florida win. I think I got caught up in the hubris on this board, thinking that because we were effective last week, Florida would control the ball.

I said Miami's defense should be better than it was last year, and I was right. I didn't expect it to be that MUCH better. But of course, the True Believers will not give Miami's defense credit. Instead, they will throw Driskel under the bus and demand Pease and Muschamp's firing. After all, it is impossible to believe that Florida could actually LOSE. It is ALWAYS our fault.

Mschamp is going to know what it felt like to have been Ron Zook in 2003, when EVERY loss was HIS fault.

But no! We GAVE it away! At least, that is your logic. Our game was 20-9, the last TD being a garbage time TD.

You can't have it both ways.

    You must be drunk.

We controlled the ball, We ran all over Miami "that good" D.

Just stop it. We lost for one reason and one reason only. Not Miami D... OUR MISTAKES.

    A. The defense DID force the mistakes;

    B. Mistakes are a part of the game.

If many of you would have respected Miami as a greatly improved team, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I like Champ, but I'm starting to think we have our own Mark Richt on staff.

44-11 on a foundation of 188 total yards of offense. Did UF force those turnovers or did USCe give them away? Ask a Gator fan and it is due to our defense. Ask a Gamecock fan and it is because they gave it away.

I'm not drunk. You're just bitter. Take off the O&B glasses and see the game for what it is.

You are trying to compare a 33 point victory to a game that really was 9-14 minus some late TD's. We held South Carolinas (very good offense) to 191 yards total offense.

Our sorry offense put up 400 plus on Miami. Just stop already, ok?

First of all, USCe does NOT have a very good offense and never had one under Spurrier. Second, with yardage totals damned near equal, the game should have been a nailbiter.

But it was a blowout? Why? Because of our exotic defensive formations? or because USCe gave it away with turnovers deep in their own territory? For once, quit being a damned homer. It doesn't work both ways.

"If the Gators, win it is because we are superior."

"If the Gators lose, it is because we didn't want to be there, gave the game away, got robbed by the officials, yada yada yada..."

The last time that was a legitimate excuse was the Tennessee game in 2004 and the Swindle at the Swamp in 2003.

We need to move on and face facts. Our offense was NOT plain vanilla against Toledo. It sucks.

we turned the ball over 5 times, but it was clearly our own fault. miami's defense had nothing to with those turnovers. driskel wasn't pressured to make bad throws by the miami d-line and our guys didn't get the ball stripped by miami defenders.
