Gee, really good point. If I can't produce photos of the planes, it must mean our military is lying.
Of course, it'd help if you actually read the story.

It would help if the Adminstration had not lied to the American public and to the relatives of those who were murdered by an "unruly mob." RPGs + the anniversary of 9/11 + the denial of requests for increased security = terrorism and murder.

    DON'T AUDIT ME, BRO.

If the obama junta had photos of planes overhead and him in the situation room instead of fast asleep and heading for Vegas they would be plastered on the NYT MSNBC and Huffington.

They aren't. That's all anyone needs as proof.

I'd ask again for you to read the story, but obviously you won't.

He didn't know the timing of what was going on in Bengazi. "In hindsight...." well no sh!t General. But there were Americans in trouble and you didn't know how long they would be in trouble and you didn't or weren't allowed to do anything.

It was just a protest over a movie anyways... right??

some folks really need to get some education regarding military operations and the various factors that go into executing a mission.

Just because there was no 'stand down order' given does not automatically mean that a mission is going to be done.

As long as no 'stand down order' is given, the officers in the area do the following
    ---gather intel ASAP
---issue orders for personnel and materials be ready to go.
---if intel provides an opportunity for a reasonable mission to be done the military in the region start sending personnel/materials toward the vicinity of the target area.
---and operation then goes forward unless a stand down order is given.

IF intel obtained by the military in the region presents the officers with no reasonable plan to execute. ie no clear target, etc then an operation won't be done ---regardless of whether a stand down order is issued or not.

Given the testimony of the military commander. the task of GOP, if they want to blast Obama is to prove that actionable intel was obtained by the military offers in the region and no plan was devised and executed.

evidently posters bashing Obama on this thread seem to be lacking intel regarding how operations are devised and carried out. That if there is not enough intel for military to devise a plan. To send in forces without a reasonable plan is stupid.

Yes, people died. But that doesn't make the phony rightwing claim of 'stand down' true. it's still false.

I don't know that we will ever know the truth. But to blindly believe Fox is just naive.

That kind of falls into the "anyone who doesn't say what you want him to say must be lying" category, doesn't it?
