I am amazed and dismayed that some people have no interest in knowing what really happened when our Embassy was attacked and our Ambassador and others were murdered by terrorists and whether Americans were lied to. I am an American and want to know the truth. I don't care what the result is, but I want to know the truth, and am frankly astonished that others don't.

Yep....but we all must surely be wrong since this is "the most transparent administration in history".

More like THE biggest bunch of inept, incompetent group of people who happen to be the most adept group of corrupt liars ever in office.

Based on the investigative record, I would say there has been an intense interest to know what happened, why it happened, how we responded and whether talking points were politicized. We send people to dangerous places, where everyone knows the risks, and some die serving their country. It has always been that way and will always be that way. Let's hope the investigation is not completely fruitless in that it leads our politicians and military to make changes that help prevent future tragedies rather than just become a political tool.

What people really wanted and still want to know is "are there any facts here that can hurt Hillary and as a bonus, Obama?"

We heard no such bleatings and cries for answers from the right when 11 embassies were attacked under Bush.

Now, the new committee will be able to interrogate all the suspects the OA has captured and brought to justice over the past year. Oh yeah, never mind.

shab said it- the left is scared to death it will bring to light things that could hurt the hildabeast and prezBHO-that is all that matters to them

as I stated earlier-prezBHO could put the whole thing to ed by just releasing his daily intellegence briefings

when you see how they are going back and reclassifying emails from that time as protected it certainly smells of coverup

No one is scared of anything.

Let's see the House GOP wusses put some charges on the table. Otherwise, this is nothing but pablum for Foxbot morons.

    It's been a year.

I'm sure you'd have no problem with intelligence info being released to tar Dems, but fortunately smarter heads will prevail.

And you favor keeping all that intelligence info secret? Really?

"Smarter heads" to you favor covering up incidents where Americans lost their lives? You are one strange person...

If it relates to assets still in play, all rational people would.

It has been opined that there were CIA facilities in the area, possibly even including the consulate itself, which is a reason why additional security and the attention it garners were not desired there.
