    From the article:
I'm not sure how this new information about Mohammed Jamal shows a stronger connection to Al Qaeda than we already knew. Didn't we already know that two of the groups who had more members involved had similar connections to Al Qaeda?

It's pretty clear the Obama administration knew there was an AQ connection or they wouldn't have engineered that embarrassing cover up.

^^^it's not 'new information'--it's the State Dept. acknowledging (or at least taking a step in that direction) what everyone pretty much already knew.

Typical left wing responses from Chomp and as usual Fred - who add nothing but try to discredit anyone who in not on the liberal spin zone. I personally would like to find out more about Benghazi and hope it ends Hillary's chances at running for Prez.

    So it appears.

...and yet our sap-sucker, lapdog, kiss-ass MSM, has yet bothered to ask any tough questions.

They just wag their tails with their tongues lagging, waiting for the Admin. to throw them a bone--which they then dutifully carry to the public. :dog:

    They call that *journalism*.

Right, I know that the Republicans don't think that the Obama administration has admitted that Al Qaeda had any link to the Benghazi attacks. But that isn't true.

The Obama administration has repeatedly said that they don't believe that Al Qaeda planned the attack.

I don't see anything in this article that indicates that we have new information about Al Qaeda planning the attack. I do see in this article that we have new information that at least one person in the group has a similar tie to Al Qaeda as we already knew that many of the other members of the group attacking the compound had.

So again, what is new here?

NOTE: your question was directed at the quote I included for context. The quote before, lays out what the article was reporting on. Here it is again:

Also please note that Jamal isn't just 'one guy'--he is the leader of 'the Jamal Network'.

Of which at least one person participated in the Benghazi attacks. Now we know that one more person had a link to Al Qaeda than we previously knew about. If we hadn't known of any links before, this would be a big deal. If the Obama administration had been denying that the participants in the attack had any links to Al Qaeda, and then we learned this, it would be a big deal.

We already knew that many of the people involved in the attacked had links to Al Qaeda. What we don't know (or hasn't been admitted if that makes you happier) is that Al Qaeda planned the attack. If we got some new information that AlQaeda planned the attack, that would be a big deal.

He knows it's garbage the same way he knew George Zimmerman was going to be found guilty. Maybe chomp's getting more insight from multi-tool.

^^^you mean the You Tube guy?

I think so, but for violation of probation, not due to the video.

What's your angle here? Not sure where you're going with that.

    Was on radio too

The emails I sent out included articles from legendary reporters from UPI and Asia Times Online that backed up what I've posted. For example, read Pepe Escobar's columns from August 30, 2011, February 14, 2012 and September 14, 2012 (google "pepe escobar asia" to get "The Best of Pepe Escobar", then scroll down to get the column).Cross-check what Pepe claims with articles in the Financial Times, the NY Times, Wikipedia, etc. Pepe's articles also include his sources in the footnotes.
The people that take me seriously are the brighter thinkers I'm able to get on the phone. The idiots, like Dennis Miller, just don't get me. For example, in 2004 I gave a highly intelligent Wash Times reporter information that enabled him to be the first reporter to debunk the al-Qaqaa ammo dump story just days before the presidential election. Fastforward to 2012. I decide to call Bill Bennett a few weeks before the election. Bennett is talking with Hinderaker from Power Line. For some reason they start to talk about the 2004 al-Qaqaa story and they agree that if the story hadn't been debunked, Kerry would have been elected. I guess that means I'm the guy who elected Bush in 2004 (I apologize).

(fwiw: I thought your post came from 'Bobby Fisher'--that's why I was wondering about 'the angle'.).

Well, when you're not 'someone to be reckoned with,' you have to be creative to get 'important ppl's' attention.

That's interesting--about the ammo dump, and the consequences--thanks for sharing.
