Switched over to rogue dead guy
Right behind DFH Burton Baton. I can still taste the one I had a week ago.
Had a burton baton tonight for the first time in months. Always a great beer!
Needed to cleanse my palate after that nugget nectar. I don't get the hype. People were comparing it to Sucks, saying it was better. It isn't in the same world. I was expecting a hoppy red like Tocobaga...but it can't come close to Tocobaga.
Perhaps I'm spoiled, but I don't see anything special about NN.
This will help.
Had this while working around the house today. It was very nice!
Sweetwater IPA, Homebrew DIPA, Russian River Consecration and now a Killian's at the Solar Bears game.
This was a Bold City Smokey Porter. Actually it was 3 of them....
Had one of those last weekend. Was definitely something I'd seek out again.
deschutes brewery mirror pond pale ale. yum.
I read in the Jax paper that Bold City is doubling its brewing capacity and tap room.
Aren't they around the corner from you?
Yeah. They they are about 5 blocks from us. They're the original Jacksonville brewery so I'm always glad to see them do well. The owners and employees couldn't be nicer people.
Why I love cans.
Hopslam and Founders Imperial Stout tonight. Next drink will be at Peg's Friday night in preparation for Hunahpu day!
We're trying to make Pegs, we'll see.
Either way, hope to see you for a beer at Huna day!
Someone in this thread is getting a care package on Tuesday.
That lucky bastard!
My hopslam is dated 1-28 and I think it has really started to fall off (still good, just not nearly as good). Are you seeing the same thing? I only have 2 left. 1 I'm saving for a side by side with next yrs, just because since its already not fresh and I'll be drinking the other tonight.
Ray, you were right about the Jai Alai, too. Way better fresh.
