    Thanks!

I've also tried mostly the mass produced stuff. I've found Maredsous, Tripel Karmeliet, Delirium Tremens, and Barbar in the States. You would like those.

I haven't had any "one off's" in Belgium yet. We went there last Christmas but I wasn't able to get to any of the breweries to taste their seasonal specials.

Looks like I'll have to research this Cantillon you speak of

Finished up the Hop Wallop last night. Heading to Total Wine in a bit to pick up more. Any suggestions on other's I should try?

Keep in mind, I'm in Tampa. Looking to try some new stuff for me.

Had a couple of bottles of Mojo IPA last night from Boulder Brewery. Forgot what a solid single IPA that is. Enjoyed it while watching Revolution.

A friend from California gas been telling me about an IPA that he claims is the best single out there. I just found a 6 of it, Sculpin India Pale Ale - Ballast Point Brewing Company. I can't wait to try it.

Also picked up a 6 of Stone IPA as well as a 4 pack Ruination. Grabbed another pack of Hop Wallop, as well as a Double Simcoe by Weyerbacher.

They had another Ballast IPA which he said was also good, Big Eye, so I'm going to try it as well. These will be my first beers by Ballast, so we'll see.

I got the usual suspects as well, my regular choices by Smuttynose, Dogfish, and Cigar City...but I'm most excited about trying the Ballast offerings. It's going to be a fun few weeks.

Sculpin is amazing, top 5 ipas for me. Just check the date on it, Florida has issues with out of date ballast point. You seem to really like those west coast ipas, make sure you try green flash west coast ipa if you haven't already.

I've had the West Coast IPA once, haven't seen it since. It was delicious.

I do find myself liking a lot of Cali beers, but really I don't discriminate lol. It just seems in my area there are a ton of offerings from there, but I still enjoy many others from Delaware, Penn, Colorado, Michigan etc. I don't see a lot if mid west offerings though.

Oh, the dates were fine its the first thing I checked.

    Had a He'Brew Bittersweet Lenny's R.I.P.A. - Shmaltz Brewing Company last night.

A lot of hop bitterness at first, a lot of malt, followed by hints of toffee, caramel, and can definitely taste the rye. A little pine finish and strong hoppiness...there's a lot going on with this one.

Terrific beer and super value at the local grocery chain. This store typically has a crappy beer selection but they started buying stuff from Shmaltz and they're selling Bitter Lenny's for $9.99 a four pack. Had it once with shot of rye whiskey on the side. That was a treat.

Yeah it's much more reasonably priced than the other Imperial's I drink as well. Never had it with a shot of rye, sounds good though.

    Good beer.

I finally broke down and had some Pumpking from this year. That's one beer I don't understand the hype or cult following. It's a mess

West Coast IPA is a staple at my grocery store. Don't get it often, but it's a very satisfying IPA.

Can't do much better than Delaware, Penn, Colorado and Michigan. The only midwest offerings you might be missing are from Muenster Indiana (Three Floyds) and a couple from Wisconsin and Minnesota. Truth be told. you could get all the great craft beer you ever needed between Holland, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo Michigan. If you had to go any further than that, you should probably get off your bicycle and get in a car. But it's best to wait until morning.

An IPA called Jai Lai by Cigar City Brewery out of Tampa. Best IPA I've ever had

Cigar City is getting great reviews from Beer Advocate, especially their stouts, but I think I recall reading something about the Jai Lai. Haven't tried any yet. They don't get anywhere near Chicago.

I was living in Tampa in the mid 90s when I first started getting into craft beers. Still in touch with some of my old drinking buddies down there. They're all pretty excited about CC.

Was the North Carolina mountains a couple of days ago and picked up a four-pack of Dogfish 90 for $9. That's a buck or two cheaper than I ever see it in Florida.
Personally, I lean toward the big, chewy IPAs.
