Mr. CrowderHungry gave me a bottle of this a couple months back. I loved it so much that I just traded for another. Amazing!

Been off the grid for a while but I'm still reeling from the six pack of Cigar City Jai Alai that gator7_5 sent me. Somebody spanned the range of IPAs from the light session able versions to the monsters, and found the absolute sweet spot. Might as well call it "THree Hearted Ale." It kicks Bells' ass. Not as much of a novelty, but much better balanced than Zombie Dust or Sucks. It's not quite a double, but the hop profile is distinctive and alcohol is hiding right behind it. It's so drinkable, it might sneak up on you, but if you're paying really close attention, taking time to enjoy the aroma, you'll enjoy it a little more slowly and the nuances won't elude you. Then again, it's so refreshing, it's an easy one to throw down.

gator7_5 will have a treat arriving at his door next March. I already have a four pack reserved. Gave my Whole Foods guy one can of the Jai Alai to make sure. My backup plan is to have my friend Bruce in Grand Rapids drive over the brewery and pick up a four pack or two.

Glad you enjoyed it, Strange! It's a sin for an IPA fan not to get to try that beer.

Had the last version of the Enjoy By… Best new double I've tasted in years, except possibly the anniversary Ruination. Stone's getting their mojo back.

Have yet to get my hands on one of those. Ditto Pliny the Elder/Younger. Might be out on the west coast for business before the year is out.

Thinking about riding the wagon for a couple of months. Going to pick up a bottle of DFH 120 this week to cellar until I jump off again. It was brewed in late June, so even the stuff in the stores is starting to mellow. Damn, this is going to be hard to pull off during football season.
