Found a cool half dozen of these at 7 bucks a pop. Well worth it! Fantastic IRS.

Need to get my hands on some of that Swamphead. Haven't had any since college in the mid 90's... - yeah, I just went there.

I love that stuff, but I prefer it with a year or two on it. You're right though, at $7 it's hard to find a better imperial Stout.

Last can of this. I'll definitely seek out more. Texas has some good shit coming out right now, not just St. Arnold anymore.

Ray, give me some good Texas beers to try. There's nothing to do out here except drink beer and watch NASCAR.

This is a really great IPA brewed in Dallas. And it comes in a can so you can throw it at the tv when Dale Jr wrecks and it wont break the screen.

Thats Austin Alewaorks Ray's drinking looks great too. Brewed in your backyard. Heavy on the alcohol, though. It'll sneek up on you like one of the Busch brothers...

Speaking of bombs, Founder's Devil Dancer is supposed to hit local stores today. Got three different places holding some for me. Can't afford three four packs, but I didn't want to take any chances in case someone didn't get a delivery. One store warned me that they make break up the four packs and only sell singles, limiting it to one per customer.

I have been drinking my home brews fora bit now. Finished off my irish red, have a milk stout and a javanilla milk stout, a summer ale about to be bottled, and an IPA about to be brewed.

Devil Dancer was a no-show in Chicago yesterday. Went three different places they all say the same thing. "If it didn't come today, it's not coming till next Wednesday." All was not lost. The manager at Binny's went in the back and pulled out one of these.

    http://www.stonebrewing.com/ruinten/

It's Ruination's 10 year anniversary release, 110 IBUs, 10.8% ABV. They just released it on Tuesday and it got all the way from San Diego to Chicago in two days. (They have a stand alone marketing and distribution organization in Chicago.) Devil Dancer's been out two weeks and hasn't made the three hour trip to Chicago yet. Those guys need to get their $%!# together. Founder's makes several of the highest rated beers in the world, yet they're not even among the top 50 in production and sales. Bells is eating their lunch. Lagunitas is about to eat everyone's lunch. There are enough skilled brewmasters out there for every great craft brewer to have multiple brewery/bottling plants.
