It reminded me of a Quad with oak. A nice change-up from my hoppy go-to's as of late.
Gonna have a couple 90 mins. Very dependable good brew.
Blue Moon Short Straw
Yeah it is!
Had a couple Long Nose IPAs at The Swamp last night. Very tasty and I was somewhat surprised at the crowd there for a Monday night. Good scenery.
Had a few glasses of 120 a few weeks ago. Pretty weird stuff. Good tho
First time trying this, I believe it was just canned recently for the first time. First impression, its very tasty but very big @ 10% I believe.
Another fine Texas offering.
Six Points Resin, again. Can't beat the value. Love the skinny green cans. Most drinkable DIPA I've ever tasted. It's the summer beer for year-round IIPA drinkers.
How much is it there? I keep hearing you say it's so great for the money, but it's $10-$11 a 4 pack here. Far better beer for the $$$ at that price point.
$9.99 everywhere I see it. Started off at $8.99. That's good up here. Dogfish Head 90 is $11.99. Any other decent DIPA is $11 to $15 for a four pack and few are as high in alcohol or hops. Sales taxes are high up here, but that depends on what municipality you're in. It gets better the further out in the burbs you go. Everything else gets worse the further out in the burbs you go.
Got that as an extra a few months back. Was really suprised at how great it was.
I love it. Anytime I make a deal with someone from Texas, I make sure to get at least 1-2 in it.
I'd be thrilled if I ever got it as an extra.
It's $9.99-$10.99 around here too. I thought it was good, but I won't actively seek it out. Here there are a lot better beers at that price point or below IMO.
I really liked their 3Beans, but it's $14 or so which is crazy. I think they priced me out on that one.
Upright Sole Composition M&M. Whiskey and red wine barrel aged stout, bottle 29 of 250. It's a bit light on the whiskey but the red wine gives it a nice tart kick. I'm a fan.
Back in Chicago tonight. Really digging PW.
Found a four pack stashed at the back of the cellar. Pleasant surprise.
