I think the more pertinent question now is: 'does Foley get another chance to hire a football coach?'

Welcome to the board! Im pretty new here myself and for the most part eveyone has been respectful of every ones opinion. Lot of great minds here and it's pretty cool to here all the different perspectives, take them into account, and have all the additional info to help for your ow conclusions. Your OC wouldnt be a bad choice...my question is would he be able to handle the pressure cooker that is UF and the SEC.

Foley's job is nowhere close to being in jeopardy. I think the Muschamp hiring was rushed, but Foley is here as long as he wants to be.

IMO the constant turn-over in OCs at UF may be the biggest issue UF has had with their offense in recent years...

I would have agreed with this last year. However, this being Pease's 2nd year, I was anticipating marked improvement. The opposite has happened.

I would also agree that if Pease happens to be the o.c. for Bama which would run offense well because they have a great o-line thus a great head coach along.

So hence, its our o-line which performed poor that affected the offense system at least 90% times since 2010. Great players cannot help much around with this o-line because everything starts with it.

Also ponder as why did not Muschamp acknowledge of our poor o-line (2010) and fix it right away by recruiting higher quality linemen since then? Also with 3 different offense coaches did not help improve it as well... why? Maybe it's the linemen that were in their way in order to improve things, offensively?

So it really gets overdue to fix the offense side esp with the linemen. It just gets too old by now, know me meant. Muschamp has to wake up big time to do something or else.

Turnover at the coordinator position is expected at places like UF. UF had 4 different people calling offensive plays between 2001 and 2005, yet won the NC in 2006.

Maybe, but that's no excuse to stick with what isn't working, these are college kids, they are only around 3 to 5 years, it's not a big deal for coaches to change that much.

Did't Bama's OL coach retire a couple years ago. Maybe we can offer him 2 million to come out of retirement.

Yeah, look at how poorly FSU is playing after their massive turnover in assistants from last year to this. Oh, wait . . . . Maybe the problem isn't so much the turnover as it is with the new assistants that are hired.

I don't question that the turnover has hurt us but I don't think it's the biggest issue or even close to it.

I live within wallking distance of a MW stadium. I've seen enough MW football to know that it's tough to predict if success in that conf will translate out of conf. In fact I saw Boise crush CSU in Pease's last year.

    You are joking, right?

One of the best ADs in the country is going nowhere, unless he plans on retiring.

Now if we could only recruit a dynamic qb again. We also need leadership on the team. I don't see any of that, does anyone else?
