Sorry, but I read the whole thread and f you said somewhere in this thread that this this was going to do Trump, then I missed it. Where is it? All I saw you post in this thread was about never trumpers inability to get over the election and their wishful thinking that proof existed.

You know we are already a failed nation when a twitter war between two porn actresses (can the term actress even be applied here??) is making national headlines.

Our society has become a big pile of shit and I really don't think there is any saving it at this point.

McCain believed his press clippings. I have little respect for the Senator not because of his politics, but because of his actions as a Senator. I have NO respect for anyone who wants the Presidency (read political power) as much as he did, hillary, obama, and Trump. McCain ran twice and thought both times that because he thought he was popular with the press and was a "maverick", they would back him.

    What a buffoon.

Aside from feelings on McCain specifically, don't you have to want the Presidency one helluva lot to put yourself (and family) through what they do?

Other than the first few, I highly doubt there was a reluctant president.

No. Bush didn't come across power hungry. Neither did Romney, Carter, Mondale, or even BILL Clinton. Hillary on the other hand came across like a power hungry $*#&(.

Wanting it because you believe you can do good is different than wanting it for power. A true servant of the people versus a king to be served.

I like that take. Definitely the type of person you want. Although I think Bill was probably pretty power hungry, even if not as much as HRC.

Well, he does pale in comparison to Hillary.

Personally, I like Bill. I said way back that history would remember him more fondly. I didn't care for a lot of his policies but I would take that over what we had/have. He seemed like a good natured poon hound!!

Genghis Khan paled in comparison to Hillary with regard to power seeking and sense of entitlement.

It's Michael Avenatti, the subject of this thread, partying colluding in the Hamptons the other day with Don Lemon from CNN. Perhaps doing some strategic planning over their wine spritzers.

Maybe Ford? I doubt he had any Presidential aspirations before being appointed to take Agnew's spot.

    The Trump Curse strikes again.

Law firm of Stormy Daniels' attorney hit with $10-million judgment

A law firm of Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti was hit with a $10-million judgment Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court after he broke his promise to pay $2 million to a former colleague. Judge Catherine Bauer of U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana ordered the Eagan Avenatti law firm to pay the $10 million to Jason Frank, a lawyer who used to work at the Newport Beach firm. "At this point, that's what's appropriate," Bauer said at a brief hearing.

To settle his law firm's bankruptcy, Avenatti had personally guaranteed that the $2 million would be paid to Frank last week, but both he and his firm failed to turn over the money.

At the hearing, the U.S. Justice Department revealed that Avenatti has also defaulted on just over $440,000 in back taxes, penalties and interest that he had personally promised to pay the Internal Revenue Service under another bankruptcy settlement for his law firm. Assistant U.S. Atty. Najah Shariff told the judge that the federal government would soon file a motion demanding payment.

Under the Jan. 30 bankruptcy settlement, Avenatti agreed to pay the IRS $2.4 million in back taxes, penalties and interest owed by the firm, court records show. Nearly $1.3 million of that was for payroll taxes that the firm withheld from employees but did not turn over to the government.
