Slightly different than my post but a similar explanation
Everyone's wondering how Michael Avenatti obtained his bombshell information on Michael Cohen — and there's already an investigation launched

Edit: Didn't realize that we used the same link. Apparently you missed the discovery explanation.

I did not miss this "One theory"

I am looking for anything definitive and there is nothing- kind of like the rooskie collusion story-nothing definitive- but the left is still pushing it as if it were the truth

The documents themselves are definitive. How Avenatti may have received them is all based on "theories" and the discovery theory is more likely than the alternative theories that Avenatti obtained the information illegally through leaks either from Mueller or Treasury. Don't think that either he or individuals on Mueller's staff or at the Department of Treasury would risk disbarment and/or criminal prosecution.

He shouldn't answer questions under oath. That'd be stupid. I was merely mentioning what might bite him in the ass.

Not sure how this relates to those Obama rumors. Seems like a stretch, but whatever.

Not currently practicing law. Have been admitted to practice in Virginia and Florida. I reached the conclusion that Avenatti probably obtained the banking documents of Cohen's LLC through discovery rather than the alternative since Mueller and his team have been holding virtually everything they've obtained very close to the vest and wouldn't want to do anything that could jeopardize any case(s) that they may have, especially leaking documents to a somewhat sleazy publicity whore like Avenatti. Also if they were ever caught illegally disclosing documents they could be disbarred ending very lucrative careers in the legal profession. While I haven't researched the issue, I'm also rather sure that leaking confidential banking documents could subject members of Mueller's team as well as Treasury employees to criminal prosecution. Not likely that's something that they would risk.

People are wondering how the payments from AT&T ( attempting a huge merger), pharma, and Russians are “proof Trump can’t be bought”, as huckleberry Sanders just said, if Trump didn’t know about them.

Nice defection, but it seems like Huckelberry just admitted that Trump knew of the “play for pay” scheme Cohen was running ... you ok with that?

sorry man, but this post made actually me chuckle out loud given the number of sensationalized anti-Obama articles you trotted through here every day for 8 years reciting unsubstantiated gossip, rumor and innuendo as if it were gospel, now asking for proof of an opinion as if you were the credibility judge and jury.

    oh the irony.........

My guess is that Avenatti received this from 3d party sources outside of his lawsuit and the Mueller investigation.

Too many legal hurdles and nuances, and patently stupid, to disclose something he received directly through discovery. And he may be a lot of things, but I don't think stupid is one of them.

"Object of political desire"??? You're getting a bit desperate yourself aren't you..:p

Most on the right are simply finding the left as amusing as they keep coming far off the rails. They've tried everything possible and still can find any concrete. So now they resort to this----a stripper.

And take close note of this---(this time anyway since you've missed it all along already). The VAST majority of the right are most certainly NOT devout & devoted Trump worshipers, but just sick and tired of how the left in general have lost their collective minds after being unable to accept Hillary lost, and completely dedicated their lives to attempting everything imaginable to get rid of Trump....even lie through their crooked teeth. I think most on the right, whether they like Trump or not---are fed up with the desperation of pretty much every liberal out there embarrass themselves the way they have--and continue to do.

On the other hand--we love watching the entertainment libs provide. Gives a whole new sense & definition of desperate whining.;)

That is the correct description. He will probably be tossed aside at some point (see Bush, who became a not real conservative as his approval ratings fell, or McCain, who multiple people are calling a traitor on here because he disrespected Trump), but, for now, somebody's definition as a proper conservative is based on devotion to Trump.

Plenty of concrete things. You just have beer goggles for Trump right now, so you don't see them.

Disagree. Again, look at how the right is treating the Bushes or the McCains of the world. They are absolutely devout and devoted to Trump. Let's take a look at some basic poll results:

CPAC-Times poll: Conservatives love Trump — but not so much the tweeting

“The conservative movement has found a new leader,” said Jim McLaughlin, who ran the poll.[/quote]

Yeah, the whole we just do what we do to annoy the libs argument. It is a bit sad that we apparently have so much control over what you do in an oppositional defiant manner, but if that is the sad argument you want to advance, then that is your choice.
