Lol. Nicely done @docspor
Grier at #1?
I think it is the fear of this becoming Will Grier thread #1,259.
Just block all the “come on man” posters from view and you never have to worry
The biggest thing to teach RBs is how to pick up blitzes. Running thru open holes is the easy part.
Overrated... Good... but certainly not proven to be that good... at least not yet.
The guy has shown some great flashes and some poor flashes... he needs to eliminate those poor flashes to be that considered that highly.
I hate opinion pieces. There's no way I'm picking Tua ahead of all those names just because he played good for one half a single football game. I'd have him in the Top 50 but not Top 20.
If I was our head coach, my #1 mission would be the get the best starting QB in the country.
Well, there are only two current college quarterbacks that have played and won in a national championship game....and Alabama has both of them. I’d define have them both in the top 20.
The QB is the most important position offense. Why is it mental masturbation? Name the last time we had a qb ranked outside the top 50 and were successful
Tua hasn't shown enough to deserve to be in the Top 20. He was a complete surprise that Georgia never gamed for and it worked well enough. The thing is he hasn't played a complete game yet, but the entire Top 20 has. Once he has played a season under center and reproduces those results, then yes he deserves that lofty ranking.
I know of a good one available
I do like Jake Bentley having Dan Werner as his QB coach... He’s coached some good QB’ s over the years.
What's your definition of successful?
SEC championships, national titles
Our 2009 team was very successful without winning the sec or national title.
A bcs bowl win is respectable, no doubt, but the point is, when was the last time we were successful with a qb ranked outside the top 50. The qb of that team won 2 NC, 2 SEC titles, and a heisman
Possibly Shane matthews? I don't know. But at UF we should never be in a position to have a QB outside the top 50. Unfortunately were in that position now.
Exactly, should never be in that position, kids used to beg florida to recruit them, (rex grossman), now we have 3* qbs turning us down. Hopefully the culture will change, but we're waaaay behind the 8 ball right now
You're right. Dan has his work cut out for him.
