Attacks against America, major natural disasters, impeding disaster, all of those issues may trigger an important Presidential alert.

    The horror.

How long until it's illegal to be without a cell phone because you must always be at the POTUS's beck and call? A cell phone equipped with GPS and all kinds of personal information about its owner, of course.

Until then, at least, there's always a way to turn off the alerts.

Soon we'll have automatic DNC payroll deductions for everyone unless you enjoy being audited by the IRS. Behold the power of media brainwashing that would make Hitler envious.

    CORRUPTION RULES!!!!!

Something attached to my phone that can control it whenever big brother wants? Sounds like the beginning of something more sinister.

    How about this alert.

Barry is the worst president ever and I don't need no stinking alert from him or his mafia henchmen.

Do you suppose that's the exclusive list? It won't be a year after this that we'll be getting push updates of the Leader's great achievements and causes.

American consumers should vote with their feet to push back against fascist intertwining of state and private industry of this sort. I don't care what already has happened before; what's happening now is what matters, how far it's gone now is too far.

If it's a free phone I guess the bums deserve it, but I don't want that clown f**ing with my payed out of my pocket phone service... no matter what his stupid commie excuse is. All this is about is a another ruse/excuse to track people using cell phones and spying on their private conversations! Does she really think we're all that naive?

We know he's breaking the law as it was written.

Oh please, If Obama, and his idiots he's placed in high palaces, weren't so bent on spying on good Americans the Boston Bombers would have been caught before they detonated those bombs.

All those resources like the NSA, CIA, and the FBI being misused are going to cost us another attack on our home soil. Obama's totally to blame for that.

Now that's funny. We spent 106 million and 7 years trying to implement a system that could have been done in 3 minutes with a free twitter account..... And not pissed everyone off.

The most narcissistic president in history...

Are there that many Americans living in a cave with a cell phone who won't listen to anyone who ranks lower than the president? If there are, then this might be a good investment. And our cave dwellers could get a free solar charger from Solyndra for those days that they are willing to venture out of their cave.

the fcc's page with a link to the warn act

apparently you can turn off all the warnings packaged in the deal..except the president's.
not a big fan of this. if the situation is that dire, i think we'll already know or be too dead to care.

So you blame all major negative occurrences in the US on the president at the time that they occurred?

I think once a President has already completed a first full term, certainly it's fair to start holding him at least a little responsible for... something? Anything?

    No? okay.
