Ray allowed this to be an open access column versus strictly a membership one. He did this at my request, as I thought fans should - - - as Paul Harvey would say - - - know the rest of the story.
I know feelings and opinions run high regarding Teddy - - -but hopefully a few give this a read. I am not trying to change opinions, but at least bring to light some different things.
Anyway... here it is. And thanks Ray for allowing it to be posted, read.

Teddy read the other thread Brent started announcing that this was going up and he expressed thanks to the posters in that thread, as it was nice for him to see people discussing positive memories and making some huge compliments. As I mentioned in the thread on FCP, I agree with what he told me yesterday: this is a "tremendous article."

    Thanks!

I typically do not broadcast my own writings, but I do find the second part of Teddy's story very compelling and largely unknown. So, I hope a lot of people read it - - - for his sake.

Great read! Teddy and those teams were what got me into gator basketball when all I knew growing up was gator football. Who knew so many years later gator basketball is where my heart would lay.

I remember how crestfallen I was when this kid, whom I enjoyed and admired, made so many bad decisions. I am grateful to have learned that he is still elevating himself from his mis-deads, that he has learned from them and that he has the support of others who are deserving of admiration.

Good read and good for Teddy. Wouldn't have recognized him from the cover picture.
Thanks, always great to read positive articles on former players.

Great read AKA. Always good to see a life turn around after hardships.

Best of luck to Teddy in the future.

Could sure use another sharpshooter like him in the program.

Great read! I'd always heard Dupay references but have never known much about him. Always great to see people take advantages of 2nd chances - sometimes it seems to be a rare occurrence.

He was an enormous recruit. Led the nation in scoring in HS. Dropped 70+ in a couple National tourneys, including 60+ in the City of Palms. He was Billy's first commit, and had a big hand in convincing Miller, Wright, Parker and Haslem to commit. I could tell you some stories that have never been told on here lol

He's one of my best friends, and one of the few people I actually call a friend. Just a great dude who has changed the lives of several kids who I'm convinced would never have made it to HS without him.

Good read. Nice to hear how close everyone in the Gator basketball family is. Donovan has really built something here.
