nbtm too, but that is a great read.

I've argued with a friend who says the one and doners need to go if they are a first round pick because it speeds them up to getting their second contract where the big money is.

I think Patric will be the perfect example of why that is not true. If Patric had left as a lottery pick, he would have made some nice cash, but he wasn't ready and may not have seen a second contract - at least not the big money.

Odds are he won't go as a lottery pick now, but I'm willing to bet he does very well in the league due to the development that he has gotten working with Billy and UF, development the NBA doesn't provide. When his second contract comes around he will more than make up for not being a lottery pick.. in my opinion!

Young reminds me of former 2 time defensive players of the year Ben Wallace who unfortunately went undrafted. He was the best defensive players in the league for years but was anything but flashy. Like young he didn't have eye popping stats like blocks or scoring but he played suffocating defense as young does.

Agree, it is a good thing Patric stayed because he was so undeveloped. Smart man. Do not know what nbtm means? Lol

nbtm mean "in before the move". this is the NBN recruiting forum, I think you meant to post in NBN.
