The problem is, new sports games on next gen consoles are almost always terrible compared to the last game of the previous gen (NCAA08 was HORRRRRIBLE on PS3/360, but pretty good on the PS2). At least that is my experience and opinion. But yeah, looking at the screen shots, the graphics look insane.

I don't see where it says those shots are necessarily from nextgen.

    This SS above definitely is.

This may be the case for NCAA next year on the new platforms. However it won't be that way in madden. There has been a huge effort to keep parity between gen3->gen4 feature wise.

I mean, I use that (NCAA8) as an example because it was the most extreme. And while my sports game selection have thinned over the years to just mostly college football and NBA basketball, I use to play a wide verity of sports games, all of which were definitely a downgrade in just about every aspect other than graphics with the first edition of the next gen consoles.

It is promising what you said about Madden25 though. I'm going to be in a wait and see mode for these consoles and games. Gamestop almost always has Madden/NCAA set up to try out when they're released, so I'll definitely do a test run before I actually pony up the cash.
