Yeah, I should say I don't believe Jeff is done either. Now, if Murphy really shows well for the remainder of the season then I would expect a hellacious spring competition.

Today was not the best day to judge Jeff, even if it was his last day for this season. Playing with that brace on his knee made it very hard for him to move around in the pocket and probably hindered his passing. He's accomplished too much and made too many great plays to write off. Murphy had a great day today, but if he was truly the future of this team, the coaches would have known it by now. His performance today is a product of his coaching and his knowledge of the playbook, plus his athleticism. Let's not forget that he's been playing the position longer than Jeff. I've got fifty bucks that says Jeff beats out Murphy for the starting spot next spring. He's just got a bigger gun and a higher ceiling, plus we will benefit a lot from having him redshirt a year.
well if you didn't see bad decisions by Jeff in the miami game then there may be a problem with your eyes. he cost his teammates that game.
