Move on dude. The sooner the better. Let's get behind the new leader of our team.
Murphy appears to be a quicker thinker than Driskel. Looked downfield for his receivers, but knew when to take off and run. Seems to have a better grasp of what is going on all over the field.
Quite frankly, my eyes told me that Murphy is more than a manager gb!
Actually no. We've patented the Highly rated QB bust recently. But in 2015 odds are he will be the man be default
Time to move on with murph
I'm more concerned about his health, injuries status right now. His starting status is not important right now.
Move on? ... says the poster who was taking a cheap shot at JD instead of talking up Murphy ... really?
Murph is injured? Or do you mean JD, because I think his health status is pretty firm, broken non-weight-bearing bone in his leg. He should recover fine, just not this season.
So 5th year senior who has played in the SEC and won 11 games vs a reshirt freshmen that has never taken a snap ? And you are going with Dirskel is done? You are probably going to be really upset that year when you find out who is starting
A fifth year senior who hasn't played in a year coming off a significant injury? yes, I would take the sophomore (he won't be redshirted because we have no quality backups) over a fifth year senior. And I doubt I would be upset either way, as long as we win.
He's done bud. If he somehow wins back the starting qb spot then I will have an issue with our staff. Murph was the BETTER qb out there. Sorry...
If Driskel starts we should all be upset because he wasn't getting it done despite the defense being stellar.
No matter who starts next year we will have an experienced back up Grier is going to get a redshirt.
Maybe what Driskel needs is some time with the pressure off, to compete his way up from second string. He is one of the most raw QB's (when it comes to passing skills) to ever get a scholarship offer at UF. He needs some time to learn the position, without the spotlight on him. Maybe his career will recover, maybe not.
Right now I'm more worried about the RB fumbles, and the miscues on the OL. A lot of sloppy play.
How many posters told us we had NO backup qbs? Amazing, the driskel apologists. I think he tried hard, but just didn't have it between the ears. We'll see how it plays out, but imagine next year will be Grier's job to lose.
Huh? For what? Take the injury out. Murphy was better. I'm not sure what embarrasses you. I'll apologize if you make a decent case as to why...but wow...
Just happy we have a QB finally. At least based on the early results.
I was about to say the same thing, that guy was kind of over dramatic huh?
