This is Murphy's team now and Grier gets on campus in a couple months.

If this was his last start, I appreciate everything he tried to do. Too bad it ended before it really ever began.

Thought certainly crossed my mind. With all the chatter etc abt JD, I don't think he has/had IT.

IMO it's a bit too early to say. TM has just played one game against a lousy UT team. We have seen JD play several and we all could see JD has limitations. But we should be encouraged from what we see so far with TM. He got some excellent game experience today and will have two prep games vs uk and arky to get ready for big games.

Personally, I just don't think JD has pocket presence, he has all the tools but is slow to make decisions and with our abysmal pass blocking OL, you need a quick thinker.

So you are sure Jeff will be a star but Murphy can't beat an elite SEC team? OK, bro.

Ridiculous...so with a 5 year guy which driskell will be we will turn the team over to a true freshman. Crazy how he gets handled on web sites. We will see....be careful watchya wish for.....we're getting it!

It's bit too early probably. But my guts tell me that Murphy is the one that can move Florida offense. Driskel? Not much, I'm afraid... I was in the Driskel bandwagon since last year but I then realize that he could not be.

Let's see how Tyler fares next two games... if he continues playing well, then we must give him the starter.

No I think Driskel will get a medical redshirt and start at least as a 5th year

He is done. He had his chance and was a below average QB.

Provided Murphy is decent he's our QB in 2013 and 2014. Grier is the man in 2015. If Jeff gets a medical he may complete in 2015.

Jeff simply wasn't nearly good enough to hold a job through an injury.

^^^ ok Driskel will not start his 5th year if Grier is here lol...Either way, the pass to the sideline today where Dunbar drug his one foot was a pass of beauty that Driskel has never done... Murphy did it in one game already. He actually scans the field for open receivers, goes through his progressions, and then runs... Amazing how that works. Go Murphy!

I think he should start playing baseball at UF to get ready for the Majors. He wouldn't have much chance with the NFL, I think. Guys?

Jeff is done. If Murphy does well this year, then he will be the starter next year because Muschamp knows not to throw a true freshman into the bright lights of the SEC unless this kid is the second coming of a mix between Manning and Tebow. That leaves Grier, a true sophomore, or Driskel, a fifth year senior who hasn't shown much even when healthy.

It's a good thing he has a baseball career to fall back on.

Murphy looked like a great fit. We don't need an exceptional QB, we need a serviceable QB that doesn't make a lot of mistakes.
