I'd say this is about as 11th hour as you can get.
How big a footprint does Fios have in the SEC states?
Fios does not have a big footprint, but they are a main provider in Texas. I think they only other southern state they are in is Florida.
MediaCom did agree today
watch CFL earlier today and Reese Davis was plugging the Network. He point blank said "if your carrier is not carrying the SEC network you need to switch carriers"
I laughed because the first thing I thought was the gauntlet has been thrown...
Verizon sent out a message on TV saying that they will have the SEC Network come Thursday morning. Cross your fingers
Thursday next week?
Do you have a link to that by chance?
I went in to the Sarasota Verizon store last week to ask about the SEC network being carried by Verizon, and I was assured that it was going to be carried by them. I said that the alternative for me was to switch carriers to Comcast and they said there would be no reason to do that. Times up.
I have FIOS in Virginia. I do not have a message at all (I just checked).
Yeah I am in ashburn and didn't have one either , that's why I was asking.
Sarasota, St. Pete and Tampa all have FiOS available. It has been available in Sarasota for a while and almost everyone I know made the switch from Comcast to Verizon.
I like FiOS, but if they can't get it together soon, won't have any other choice but to switch.
I'm in the Tampa area and I'm thinking about switching if Verizon doesn't make the deal, which sucks because I like Fios.
Just signed another 2-year deal with Verizon. I'm going to be madder than a hornet if they don't get it!
