As in DFS.
Good to hear it's not apparently a long-term injury. Now we need to have other guys pick up the slack. We'll probably see Col. Kurtz play tomorrow, and DFS in a starting role and extended minutes. Devon Walker needs to play big. Now if Scottie and Pat can't go, we're gonna likely lose tomorrow.
Seems at the vey most he'll get some limited action
Thus game would have been challenging enough with a full complement of regulars and reserves. Now, it's doubly tough. I don't see us winning tomorrow. Hope I'm wrong.
The floor spacing might be better at times, but who takes his minutes? Kurtz is hardly going to extend the defense. If Wilbekin is limited or out, then we essentially have Hill, Frazier, D. Walker, and Kurtz for 120 minutes on the perimeter.
I want to be optimistic. No season affecting injuries and if we still win - I'm happy. But it will be tough if we don't have Scotty and Prather.
I'm going to go on record in saying this is a close to a sure loss if both Prather and Wilbekin can't play. We can't afford to lose that much scoring in an environment like that.
I really, really hope I'm wrong.
I'm sick of the injury bug incessantly biting us in major sports. It feels like a stinking curse
That is a bit of brilliance right there. LOL.
This might be an opportunity for Hill step up with a big game scoring and distributing the ball. His points per minute have been impressive so far. He and Frazier should have some chemistry since they played together in high school. Did Frazier play AAU ball with Hill and Carter?
Update: they're indestructible.
Really great that Wilbekin could go...Hill is still making a ton of freshman mistakes out there.
Wilbekin's Ankle 1
Arkansas Razorbacks 0
ankle maybe sore but his heart and guts are tip top
I've never seen a player unable to walk (two games) at the end of games, and then be ready to go full 40 in a few games.
I'm going to say that I'm a huge fan of our trainers
SW really put in a gutty performance...how he played that well probably in a ton of pain is amazing. For all those that said he doesn't care or show heart during his suspension can eat those words. Let's not forget PY was playing injured as well. Really was a great team win to come back and get that game...kudos to everyone.
Could it be someone is telling something other than the truth?
Bert, nobody said anything. Scottie was limping like he tore something. You better be careful with your comments dude, you are close to crossing a line of insulting our coach.
Thanks for the warning; however, I did not insult your coach just asked a damned question.
Are you the hall monitor this week?
Bert is testy this morning!
I just thought that Austin was being a little third gradish. I am always here at the mercy of the mods; however, I in no way defamed Billy Donovan, but I did question the innuendo prior to the game.
