    Go to Gatorzone. There are long interviews with Sully and several players from just a few days ago. They talk about who has looked good, the impact freshmen, etc. They really think they are going to be great. Anyone expecting another mediocre season is likely to be very surprised.

    Don't think Gator fans ever expect a mediocre season, especially not in baseball. Really looking forward to seeing Whitson take the mound.

    I think he meant "best player in the history of college athletics". He's just looking on the bright side on this one.

    They have tremendous depth now. Won't miss a beat w/o Bader if he is out of the picture for a while.

    Wouldn't go that far by any stretch. 2 freshmen starting in the OF and NO true OF's left on the roster after that. Plus Shafer is slated to be the closer so now you have to out an infielder out there when he goes to the mound.
    But mostly Bader will be missed at the plate. Great speed and good chance he would have led the team in average, steals, and OB percentage.

    Agree... he is one of the better offensive threats in the SEC. To say we won't miss him , Gator Jeff was kinda off his game.
