That's the sanctions motion based on the cell phone evidence. Keep in mind that it is still legal argument and not factual findings by a court, but that lays out the basis for the defense's argument that sanctions should be imposed for that alleged discovery violation.
(They had also filed a previous motion for sanctions that is found here: http://www.gzdocs.com/documents/0313/mot_for_sanctions_discovery.pdf)
Uh yes Bill, need to see my UF ID?
do not need to see our UF ID- but this post made me wonder
I know the question was not aimed at me but I'd like to answer that.
No individual in any group I consider my own is above criticism when he/she acts like an idiot.
She's widely despised by most in the Jacksonville legal community for what that's worth. Shamelessly threw her former boss under the bus after she'd worked for him for over a dozen years--is not well-liked by those who work with her; and has certainly crafted the image of trying to make a splash a bit too much.
I have no doubt she cashed in every political favor she had coming to get this trial and it in no small part explains her actions in going after a guilty verdict too. She wanted this case, did everything to get on it, and tried to bend the rules to make sure she'd win it too. Have to say, I somewhat enjoyed seeing this blow up in her face.
Corey is disgusting and a sorry loser.
Did you hear what she said when asked to describe with one word George Zimmerman and her reply...Murderer
Hey Corey the trial is over...you lost so show some class. That was so unprofessional.
Today's Front Page
State Attorney Corey scrutinized nationally over
handling of Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case
Angela Corey's hissy fits, threats unprofessional
Use it to vote.
We channel surfed the libbie cable and network news last night. It was almost like these cats are trying to stir the pot. Pitiful when your ratings are so bad that you attempt to cobble together an audience of the downtrodden, disenfranchised and bitter.
And that means what? Go Gata
Certainly does not put her above criticism. If anything she is embarrassing UF and needs to stfu
And O'Mara is an FSU law grad. What does it matter. Both schools put out good and bad attorneys
There should be a full vetting of prosecutorial overcharging, so that the public would understand that - as in the GZ case - it is an unethical, bad-faith, prosecutorial pressure tactic designed to increase the possibility of a conviction on a lesser charge (which also may not be well-supported by the evidence), by building in a default "feel good", factor.
It is the rare jury who gets this.
