Yep. Who do we have as our bigs for practice? Oops, I used plural. There's only one.

The list you gave, plus Basset, is plenty fine IMO for what CMW can run.

That's my point Aka, we are hoping that these injured players will get healthy next season. We don't have a healthy quality big that we can hang our hat on. Too many iffy situations for our current bigs for next season.

Okay, I thought he injured the knee prior to White recruiting him. My mistake.

I'm not arguing a precarious injury situation. I'm just not comfortable placing the blame for that on the coaches. To the contrary-- it is the reason I am reserving judgement. I think they have been saddled by a slew of circumstances well beyond their control.

The entirety of the quote was far softer. He expressed his love for ole miss and his gratitude.

We know White has recruited some quality bigs, that much is fact because the scholarship offers were made. He just hasn't been able to close the deal, that is all on the coaches. I'd bet good money White will bring in another graduate transfer for next season that will be a big man to try to fill the gap until his big man recruiting picks up.

A bit surprised, but their season has tailed off. Time to rejuvenate the program.

I'm more surprised Fox is still at georgia . He probably has the best p!ayer in the league and still cant make the NCAA's. But ga fans don't seem to care much either way, so maybe he survives another year.

Is it all on the coaches, or partially due to circumstances I mentioned of players established at the position?
You many not be enamored Egbunu w/ and/or Hayes, but you will have hard time finding a freshman who will come in and beat out both for the spot.
And I suspect the quality bigs you reference likely ended up somewhere with a more assured starting role.
But let's find out. Who are the perspective recruits you are referring to?

Well, I see the Aggies just lost again... to Mizzou this time. Just not seeing the love affair with that team.

Just do a search on GatorCountry hoops recruiting and you will see the whole list. Castleton was one that I saw that there was a story about, I’m sure there are several others that were offered. White goes fishing, he just can’t reel in the big ones.

Colin Castleton was a 3-star player and the absolute definition of a project. As a freshman, he would not have seen time over Gak, Hayes or Stokes. We moved away from him, as we had limited spots and used each for better prospects.

They had won their last 4, including a win over auburn.
Though i agree...a bit too much hype. I think they have a lot of talent, but the attitudes and coaching have been very inconsistent.

Not to hijack but someone mentioned Frost spurning us to go home, so perhaps White would too.

    Let's remember something.
Frost was born and raised in Nebraska. That's his home.
White lived in different places each year while his dad got different athletic jobs around the country.
They did a feature on him once.
So while he went to Ole Miss, his attachment to Mississippi isn't comparable to Frost's attachment to Nebraska.

Andy stepping down now instead of at end of season. Never understood why anyone would have coached til the end unless you are retiring.

Certainly odd for them to announce he was done at the end of the year only for him to step down immediately a couple weeks later.

Now he's really done as he stepped down now.
