Me thinks we have a part time recovery so those who used to shop at WalMart are now going to Dollar General or Big Lots and those who used to shop at those establishments are at Goodwill.

List of things this administration cares about...

    Buying votes with health care
    Buying votes with immigration
    Buying votes with "gay rights"
    Acquiescing to radical islamists
Scaring any opposition to the regime IE IRS abuse et al

Things this administration doesn't care about

    The economy
    The unemployment rate
    The cost of gas
    Our image as world leader
    Businesses

Fat white lawyers in DC and glorified Wall Street bureaucrats who bribe the lawyers are doing better than ever, so who cares!

That's stunning in that if this were a pub potus, crucifiction by the media would be an understatement.

jax, very few journalists left, unfortunately. Most from Main Stream are "Publicists" for the regime. Those critical of the regime are typically demoted, edited, shown the door. our journalism schools have been producing crap. Sad.

I have to disagree on the last part. Obama does care about

    The economy
    The unemployment rate
    The cost of gas
    Our image as world leader
    Businesses

just not in a positive way.

I think today's economy seems improving. There have been a ton of jobs added to the economy recently. It gives a bit of hope to the people of our country that maybe things are getting better and maybe our recession is over. But is it possible we spoke too soon, maybe you need a backup plan in case you still can’t get a job and you will find it here deskgig.com.

Nicolas, the economy is not improving....we are on a treadmill walking .5 miles per hour. Barely going forward. 78% of jobs added in 2013 are part time. Lowest work force utilization % since Jimmy Carter. GDP again being revised down for Q3. Fed will continue to buy $85 B in bonds and securities monthly to prop it up. If Fed was not buying, I can promise you stock market would drop big time and real GDP growth would be nearer zero.
