WTF ? I know we're fat, but that's enough to choke an elephant. Even more unbelievable to me: the French eat 3,550 calories a day. Doesn't seem right. I commonly read that calories have increased from around 2,200 in 1980 to around 2,700 in 2010. I suspect that, inactive as most Americans are, 2,700 is plenty to make us fat as we are. Thoughts ? I myself am HIGHLY active and I doubt that I get 3,000 calories a day.
