It is as if life itself has photoshopped that man's head, is it not?

A pair of loudmouth, truth challenged, pot-stirrers who each earns their living by stirring up opposite sides of the political spectrum with stuff that, in each case, is largely self-promotional exaggerations are feuding with each other?

    How exciting.

I would ask for my money back

“A few years ago, Sharpton told me that his charity in Harlem, N.Y., was out of money and that it could not provide Christmas presents and Christmas dinner to hundreds of poor people in Harlem,” O’Reilly explained. “So I gave Sharpton a $25,000 donation to prove the gifts and food.”

So you have no problem with Sharpton asking O'rielly for a donation, receiving a $25,000 donation, and then trashing O'rielly by taking a story totally out of context?

O'rielly is opinionated (that is is job) but he is honest.
When showned to be wrong he publicly accepts it and if necessary apologizes for it.
O'rielly has done a lot of good for people by using the money out of his own pocket.

Sharpton has ruined the lives of a lot of people for his on self promotion.
Any good that he has done for people was the donations he collected from other people.

No, I think they're both blowhards and quite bad for the political climate in the country. I don't pay a lot of mind to either of them personally, but a couple of blowhards getting in a shouting match with each other (aside from possible entertainment value I guess) doesn't really concern me at all.

You clearly know very little about O'Reilly.

Personally, I can't stomach O'Reilly. That said, there are no Tawana Brawleys in his past either.

To use an analogy, while O'Reilly may indeed be a blowhard, but he only rises to the misdemeanor level. Sharpton is a blowhard at the felony level.

I actually used to be a fan of his when I was younger.

But it doesn't take a terribly big step back to see that he's no different than any other overly opinionated talking head who does nothing but stir distrust and hatred for those who disagree with you. He may seem to be the "unbiased truth teller" if you agree with him, but he is in reality no more useful than any other cable "news" opinion host.

Though I agree that O'Reilly can be obnoxious and loves to hear himself speak, he is NOTHING like the pure racist, flim-flam artist, pond-scum Sharpton is. Comparing those two is like comparing fire and ice.

Never has O'Reilly incited a race-riot that ended up killing someone like Sharpton has (Crown Heights).

And at least O'Reilly will man up and admit when he's wrong.

Sharpton has not been wrong yet, unlike everybody else.

And certainly not on anything having to do with race.

Wow... just, wow. You have a bent idea of what wrong is considering Sharpton got a man killed by inciting a race riot in Crown Heights. So Sharpton wasn't wrong to do that?

    Or what about Tawana Bradley?

Btw, Sharpton doesn't even understand about the abolitionists trying to help the slaves in the Civil War era.

he still doesn't even understand the Florida 'Stand Your Ground Law' had nothing to do with the Zimmerman/Martin trial.

This man has been wrong on so many levels it's ridiculous.

In the business of stirring up racism and trying to pit the races against each other Sharpton has no equal. O'Reilly, while clearly a self promoter, does not rise to that level of bigotry. Sharpton has no challenger when it comes to damaging race relations.
