Yep. Not a fan of Joe Biden, but he is smart enough to not let the country descend into chaos. Too much at stake on so many fronts. If you're an anti-Trumper, your strategy shifts to limiting his scope as a POTUS as best you can and ride out that four years. Maybe you get a strong majority in Congress in 2026.. use his election as springboard to 2028. Find a better candidate!! That's how you play it smartly if you hate Donald Trump and/or his policy decisions.

Remove Aileen Cannon Petitions Pass 300K Signatures (msn.com)

Petitions calling for the removal of Judge Aileen Cannon from Donald Trump's classified documents case have now amassed more than 300,000 signatures.

Cannon, a Trump-appointed U.S. district court judge, is facing calls to recuse herself from the former president's classified documents case over concerns regarding her impartiality. Trump is facing dozens of criminal charges related to claims that he kept classified material at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida after leaving the White House and then obstructed authorities' efforts to retrieve them. He has pleaded not guilty to all counts.

The lunatics on the left are doing all they can to make sure President Trump doesn't get treated fairly and to prevent him running to be our President again, they will fail.
Judge Cannon is doing a great job that's the only reason these wackos are going after her

Judge Cannon is objectively not experienced enough to be handling this trial (she had only presided over a grand total of four criminal trials prior to this one) and is most definitely not doing "a great job." She has a number of motions pending that she's failed to rule on, she's missed her own deadlines that she's set, and now she's indefinitely postponed the trial. The only reason to think she's doing "great" is if you're a Trump supporter who doesn't want to see this go to trial before the election.

She's experienced enough to understand that she doesn't want to be behind the 8 ball when Trump wins the election. I'd say that makes her more qualified than Merchan for sure. As for McAfee? Wait, have we heard from McAfee lately? Guess he's probably doing the Homer Simpson disappearing behind the trees act based on the below...

Ga. appeals court grants Trump's request to consider Fani Willis' disqualification from his criminal case

Punting the case down the line to protect her own skin sounds like something a horribly unqualified judge would do, not to mention entirely unethical, if that is truly her motivation.

It must suck to fall for something hook, line and sinker, only to find out you've been played.

I think you replied to the wrong message. Surely this was intended at all the Trump zealots who repeatedly believe whatever lie he cooked up last.

If it was for me, then I guess silly me for thinking a federal judge would do her job ethically.

It was the correct reply. You thought these indictments for Trump actually had a chance of yielding convictions. You were sold a bill of goods. The authors knew it would likely end this way from the start.

You have a pornstar as your key witness in the Manhattan trial.
The Georgia trial is up in flames due to a compromised DA and prosecutor.
Your classifieds case is with Aileen Cannon, which was done on purpose.

And you thought you had a chance...

This is pretty whacko, even for you. The prosecutors in all these cases brought charges purposely and knowingly that the above would happen and that the cases wouldn't resolve before the election? Do you have your medical marijuana card? Can you let me know where you shop please?

If you're going to try to tell me that Cannon is qualified to hear a case involving the President when she's only heard four criminal cases and can't even manage her calendar than you're either trolling or you can't bring yourself to be honest and objective. Either way, it's sad.

Just addressing one of your statements. The porn star was not a key witness. The testimony of other witness along with documentation was more than enough to establish that Trump falsified business records, that the payments to Michael Cohen to bribe Daniels were motivated primarily to suppress adverse campaign publicity and that they were not reported as campaign contributions. While her testimony helped establish Trump's motivation through a description of their one night stand it was in no way essential.

What's ridiculous is that a presidential candidate would bribe a porn star to suppress adverse publicity (not actually illegal in and of itself) and that he would report the bribe as a legal expense rather than campaign contribution (misdemeanor falsifying business records upgrade to felonies based on violation of campaign finance laws).

Reading comprehension. Well, comprehension in general, is not your strong suit. The Manhattan DA ran on a campaign of indicting Trump. Those indictments were DOA due to the obvious problems and conflicts with the DA's case. The Fulton case was DOA because the DA's office is ultra corrupt and they were never going to convict a former POTUS. The case actually had some legs if it had been prosecuted by a competent DA. Still, he probably would have skated. The DOJ put the classifieds case in south Florida. They could have pushed for DC. They chose not to. Wonder why? Maybe because it was a political stunt and they never had the intention of convicting a former POTUS? I'm guessing there is at least a possibility of that. If you don't think so, you must really enjoy having your head buried in the sand.

I can't imagine how morally perverse you have to be to support a man for president who has lived a life of crime because you think there are technical difficulties in prosecuting him.
