    Not going to happen. I think her goal is to delay the case long enough so that if Trump is elected his DOJ will throw the case out. If Trump loses Jack Smith will make a very serious effort to have the case reassigned to another judge.

    It's behind a paywall I won't touch, but I read where Smith has already taken a shot or two across the bow at her, which doesn't help the special prosecutor's office at all. Taking passive aggressive shots at the judge in court filings doesn't seem like a sound strategy in a case against a former POTUS.
