Among the thousands of cubic feet of hot air belched by Cruz on the senate floor, the most noxious was his pretense to be speaking for the American people. Actually, he was speaking against them.

When the idea of accomplishing this refunding by shutting down the government or defaulting on the debt, support fell to 19%.

I was in an airport a few days ago and some talk show was on with Newt claiming that Americans have, without fail, made it clear that they have been strongly opposed to Obamacare. Over and over, he claimed, and shouldn't the American people have some say in this???
Then one of the other panelists pointed out that, well, we did have an election in 2012 and Americans voted ....

Yep, the Republicans have their talking points and they're sticking to them...even if they're obviously not true.

Tomorrow, Americans will start going online and buying their policies through the Marketplace and state exchanges.

I love the Republican's idea of compromise too, "You can shut down Obamacare this way, or you can shut it down that way. Pick one or the economy gets it!"

And let's not forget that this Republican House needed an unprecedented amount of jerrymandering to stay in power

The poll has less to do about Obama care and more about people being told by the liberal media they might not get their check, ebt card etc. Hitler and Stalin would wet themselves with admiration at the media manipulation in this country. What Free Press?

Good to see you're keeping things in perspective. What would you do if you lived in a real socialist country?

    That's rich.

Among the 6 insurance providers here in Los Angeles, Kaiser priced themselves the highest....by a mile.
Of course they want Obamacare, since they just out-priced the sickest individuals from joining their network.

Sorry folks, you're simply a dishonest lot.

How many of you want Obamacare?

How many of you are honest enough to admit what you already know, that it's a poorly conceived mess Obama's forcing Americans to consume?

How many of you are honest enough to admit that it's already clear Obamacare is not a good answer to the goal of ensuring an additional 40 million previously uncovered Americans and apparently non Americans as well?

The only people I know of who want Obamacare are the misinformed.

Not surprising at all. I would imagine that most Americans harbor the conviction that they are entitled to be subsidized by others. Americans don't need to be spoken for. They need a talking too. They are beneath many of the politicians they disparage.

Most of those polled are most likley middle school drop outs who will buy whatever garbage the MSM feeds them. I still cannot wait for those idiots who supposedly suppport this law have their tax refunds garnished for lack of appropriate insurance.

Again, the goal is to drive healthcare costs down.

You have no idea how well it will work seeing as how it is just starting.

You're forgetting that it is a government program promoting private plans.
