Yes. The intended association was more affiliated with the term drone, as a remote controlled airborne vehicle, and not necessarily in the same context as the OP.

Only difference is that I'm not complaining about this death... nor would I complain about it if Romney were the POTUS.

What if it was piloted by a human and it crashed and killed people? What if a civilian light plane crashed and killed people in a neighborhood? It is the cost of doing business, the business being aviation.

When it comes to the security of this country I'm to the right of Genghis Khan. That's why I still think that both the Vietnam and Iraq wars were total failures.

it should be noted that the domestic drone industry came to us via our elected congressional representatives who were paid handsomely in donations by the drone industry

not everything should be automated or trusted to function based on the ability to receive a signal from a satellite or a radio tower. some things require a human being in the moment at the location. are you comfortable with remotely operated commercial aircraft or remotely operated passenger of freight trains? remote control builds in aninherent risk factor not present with other operational methods. it probably removes some risk factors too but I don't want somebody sitting in a flight simulator somewhere piloting the plane I am in. Do you?

Better than some pilot having a psychotic episode (see JetBlue).

This is a drone not a commercial airliner.

One of my biggest fears is young girls who fly houses around. Never know when they will drop one on you.

Barry would love to drone Snowden. I wonder what the reaction would be.
