If we beat Uconn, defeating either other opponent will be very gratifying, for different reasons.

If uf and uk meet again so be it, great for sec that has been slammed as weak conference, and I have confidence in our guys. It will be a great game should we meet. The best team will win.
As far as I know, Jeff has been a great guest here, uk is his team but he also pulls for us. We don't really like uk for the one and done thing promoted by Cal., but to take it out on Jeff just not right. Right now uk is playing their best ball, I still like our chances if we meet. Go Gators...

Ironically Michigan State beat Wisky 4 times in 2000.

We're still in a position to beat the only two teams that we lost to this year... I'd love a rematch with Whisky after we beat UConn.

agreed. I'd still want UK over wisconsin. The idea of 4-0 against UK in one season is just to amazing to pass up

Stein's absence is really going to hurt them there

Let me remind a couple of you that unless you have been made mods and I am unaware of it then it is not up to you who posts on this board. We have made it clear in the past that the fans of other teams are welcome as long as they stay within the rules.

Now if this was a UF/UK thread and we had lost then I am sure our two main Kentucky members would not be on it celebrating but it's not. So stop the going after other posters.

If we do play UK...and happened to lose...that would be the most painful lose I can ever remember. We are better than UK, we've proven it all year, and three times on the court. The only way UK can actually beat UF is with the officials calling any drive UK does a foul like the second half of the SEC title game. Losing after beating them 3 times would be brutal to stomach honestly. I know we are better, I know we match up well..and I know if we played them ten times we win 7-8 of the games. But if they got us that one game...in the title game...I'd be sick.

I'm not sure Stein could do better than the kid who walked out there today. Who knew that Calimari had that hidden in the cupboard.

As a team, Kentucky doesn't deserve to play. Their "offense" is setup to get Randle or the Harrisons to the FT line. Their coach is a snakeoil salesman who will push most of them out for his next crop of one and dones... Not to mention that even today Calipari is still just directing traffic on the sidelines stomping his feet like a two year old with a tantrum because he hasn't taught any of them where they need to be when they run a play not named 'give it to X and let him go to the hoop'

    Its disgusting.

I know, at least the 1st two games aren't. Makes no sense. When I check the TV info in my paper it doesn't show anything else important on CBS at the same time. Maybe next year ESPN can do this. Then I would think the Final 4 games would be on ABC.

    40-0?

    How about 4-0?

Kentucky beat 3 top ten worthy teams per Sagarin to get to Texas. They had a tougher road than we did, especially when you consider they were missing one of their bigs today.

I believe we will represent in the FF against any and all teams we play. And if we lose a game then that is the beauty of the tourney. This season is a success no matter what happens from here on out...and no matter who wears the NC hats on Monday might.
