As one of the former founders of the Muschamp sunshine pumper club, 8-4 is not good enough to save his job after Vandy and GSouth.

Maybe if he pulled those two gimme games I could see us giving him another year for 8-4.

I wouldn't call you an apologist after this post. That pretty much sums it up. There's no excuse for 4-8.

You bring up a good point about the scUM game. Injuries didn't cause those red zone meltdowns, turnovers and poor start by our defense.

Oak, i think you're about right. I still hold that a bad healthy year is 9-3, so 7-5 could almost be explained by a catastrophic injury situation. Almost.

    ...this + what Oak said.

8-4 should be a down year in a rebuilding season. It's not what Florida needs to tolerate after giving Muschamp every second chance in the book by retaining him this season.

Flush out your headgear and face facts. This team quit on Muschamp in October, hoping Foley would fire him by season's end. They will quit on Muschamp in 2014 until Foley gets the message.

You'll have to describe Muschamp's best win against Georgia for me to consider it a possibility that it's a tossup. I'll even let you throw in games against Georgia Southern.

Most Florida fans would gladly bet the house that Bama finds a QB before Muschamp develops one. On a separate note, I don't know if Bama needs a QB to beat Muschamp's Gators. The backup punter would probably get the job done.
