Thanks. I just want a competitive game in the 4th qtr. If that happens, then anything is possible at the end of the game.

As long as the team is healthy we will run them into the ground. Matt Jones is going to have a field day 150 plus years. Jeff will also run for 80 yards

I don't wish to overanalyze this game. I do appreciate your love for your team.
In this game, you will be playing in the Swamp in early September. Your team will fade and lose decisively in the second half. We will have the better players and a severe homefield advantage.

I think it will be tough for Toledo to stay within 20 points.

Just an FYI, playing in front of 105,000+ in the Big House (Win) and Horse Shoe (5 pt loss) didn't mean squat to UT [although it will probably mean something to the refs like it always does, especially @ osu & Syracuse [IMG]] . UT won't be intimidated by playing in a big stadium or big name team.

Um, it's gonna be hot. Real, real hot. Florida September hot.

Also, Come on man. Don't refer to Toledo as UT.

Yea, and Arizona fans were saying the same exact thing last year to us UT fans. High temp on game day was 101, temp at game time was 93. That didn't affect UT, as they went to OT with Arizona.

I don't understand why people think Ohio summers are not hot.

And that is all I will refer to Toledo as UT. That is what we call them. Just like I see people in Florida call Miami (FL) as UM. That makes me think of Michigan. Just like if someone from around here (Ohio) says Miami, we automatically think of Miami (OH), not Miami (FL).

Even though it isn't as hot as FLA, it still gets hot and muggy. Believe it or not, we get 90+ degree days with high humidity. It's not like it's 70 degrees with no humidity over the summer. UT will just make sure they hydrate well during the week, and probably make sure they practice outside instead of in their IPF.

Gators should win by 20 points. I expect a hiccup or two out of the gate but they'll wear down an inferior opponent at home along with the weather being a factor.

You keep talking about games Toledo lost. It doesn't matter if it's an inch or a mile.

This game might be close because we may just run the ball most of the game. Toledo will never be in a position to win.

Yea, ok...I'm sure you people were saying the same exact thing before the BG game, the LA-Lafayette game, and the Louisville game.

I'm not wasting anymore time here with you people who are clueless about your opponents. Keep on recruiting thugs to UF. Win at all costs is all that UF & $EC teams believe in. Who cares if 40+ guys who were on the team in 2008 have since been arrested - as long as florida wins, right?

I should have known it would be impossible to have legitimate conversations about the game with florida fans. All P5 fans are the same - they think they are the sh!t and will never lose to a Go5 school. Then, when they do lose, they come up with every excuse under the sun.

I have lived in N Central FL almost my entire life and within the last 3-4 years I have spent many many weeks in and outside of Columbus for work, almost exclusively in the summer. It does get in hot during the afternoons, but nothing like our summers. It is brutally hot mid day and the humidity is nuts. In Columbus, it would begin to cool off and get very nice around four. Nights up there were nice and cool as opposed to what I was accustomed to here. In Aug/Sept, it is still crazy hot, humid and muggy at 10 at night. Look at the LSU game last year, that's cats are from the swamp themselves and they were cramping up big time. Players said it was hue heat. Sorry, no comparison.

You are the one who appears to be clueless, as you seem to think this is still last season. I hope you enjoy the game!

They aren't excuses. It's reasons they were upset. Could the planets align and Toledo win? Sure, a team with far superior players SHOULD win the game.

Each summer we're bogged down with one fan from the Mickey Mouse school we play first. Blah.

florida likely will not have an explosive offense---but, with 95 degrees, big, powerful SEC players pounding on smaller toledo players the whole game, fla will wear them down, open a lead of 13-17 in the 3rd quarter and probably win by 20-23.
