I will be. Gator games have turned below average gambling years into decent years the last two...
Be curious to see what the over under will be. If the number is 50 or higher, I will be unloading on the under

I understand where you're coming from, but think of it this way:

How much would you willingly PAY to have the Gators win by over 21.5? Would you pay a dollar? I sure as hell would! So bet a dollar on Toledo +21.5. If the Gators win by over 21.5, you lose a dollar, but you can just tell yourself that you paid a dollar to see the Gators win big!

Obviously, in bets like these you have to find your "sweet spot". I could NEVER bet an amount that would cause me to root for the Gators to not do well. The beauty about a 21.5 point spread in this case is that the Gators could win 28-7 or 35-14, still dominate, and you would get some money AND a great Gator win.

On the flip side of this, I will never, ever bet on a team playing against the Gators when the Gators are underdogs. Imagine if you bet some money on the other team at -7 and they only won by 3. That's a double loss!!!!

I pretty much agree, and follow that line of logic.
Let me be clear... I don't do this very often... As I said earlier, I am a gator info freak. I know this time 1000 times better than I know anyone else... Even with all the research on opponents I do. It creates quite the edge....the beginning of the year is when lines are weakest as well.

Can't bet a nickel I always want gators in a blowout...but I am rational on the lines.. Unlike most on here that think we will blowout everybody...

Its not that...I think most of us cant fathom a point in a game where we may feel the need to hope Florida doesnt score. Lets say the spread is 26....we line up for a late FG that would put Florida up by 28, I could never root one of our kids to miss. I think thats the real issue we face.

If I bet a Gator game, I have a decent chunk on it(at least 250$). Meaning, I see a big line advantage. I won't do it for just small advantages.

never bet against the Gators in any sport with or without points.

The last time I participated in a March Madness pool was when we lost to Michigan State in the final in 2000 and I had the Gators win the entire thing.
