Thanks, Jstewie. Been too busy to look/think about it. New SEC media days were coming up but did not realize football was just 7 weeks away. I think I can make it 7 weeks.

UF should win this game easily. Hopefully the game is not at noon. The real games are Miami and UT!

I think the last time we had a noon opener was Hawai'i in 2008. Im hoping for a 6 pm game on 8/31.

I don't know, last year some of the "cupcake" games were closer than the "real games."

I predict we block a punt with time running out in the 4th and then win the game on a Driskell QB sneak...

Toledo is no joke. Just look at how they played against power conference teams the last two years. Lost @ Arizona 24-17 in overtime in 2012. They lost by 5 @ Ohio State in 2011. The Rockets return 9 starters on offense, but we should be able to sustain drives on offense(only 4 strs back on Toledo defense). Former UF targets/recruits Rodney Adams & Jordan Haden will come into the swamp as rockets. We cannot afford to look ahead to Miami, and we will learn a good bit about our defense as Toledo will spread us out. Should be a good test to start the season.

Good to see there are some UF fans who actually know something about their opponents, more than just their name and record. You can also throw in when we 'beat' Syracuse in '11, but the refs called an XP good in the last minute when it was clearly wide, which led the game into OT when UT lost.

Just like the Bowling Green game last year, right?

Come on you sound stupid... Toledo hasn't played an SEC defense like Florida... Comparing Arizona and Ohio St to an SEC team is unintelligent...

Not scared one bit, Texas A&M came in and spread out Florida's defense, and used up tempo and Florida was not phased... Toledo isn't a bad team, but comparing Florida to Ohio St and Arizona is not smart, PAC 12 does not play defense first off, and Ohio St and the Big10 does not play teams with speed like Toledo.. Florida is use to it all, I'm not saying it will be a blowout, but definitely won't be close in the end.. 3 touchdowns at least.

A 3 pt game in the 4th qtr is a blowout? A 13 point win is a blowout?

What about LA-Lafayette? Was that a blowout too?

I don't see anywhere where he was comparing other teams to Florida. He was saying that UT can, and will, play competitive games with the 'big boys'. And UT isn't intimidated with playing against the 'big boys' and in their stadiums.

I did not say we will not win the game. I listed facts about Toledo and their competitive games with two power conference teams. I hope we blow them out in the first half, and can get back ups some mop up duty in the 2nd. However, the Rockets won't be phased by coming in to the swamp. And, if you were not at the Louisiana Lafayette game last year- UF cannot take anyone in D-I lightly. I'm glad ur confident, but I'm realistic as to what we lost and the fact that it's our first game with quite a few starters in their new roles exclusively. Agree to disagree. But, I hope you're right.

Thanks for adding information to this board. I hope you will continue to do so, as the game day gets closer. I like rational/civil conversations with opposing fans.
