    1) Muschamp isn't getting fired.

    2) Even in our current state, Gators will beat Vanderbilt. And have you SEEN Georgia & South Carolina?!?! Neither look good.

I'm a UF Alum, 40 yr Gator fan, and bleed Orange and Blue as well as anyone else on these boards ... but if there ever had to be a year that we finally lose again to Vandy, might as well be a throwaway year like this ... Muschamp has lost any and all control over this team, and HE is the one (NOT Pease) who dictates the dismal direction and dark ages play calling of the offense

IIRC, Missouri's QB was hurt the week before we played them too

The best we can realistically hope for this year is 6-6 and an invitation to the #whothe****cares bowl ... if I saw a forward thinking, competent coach and staff that commanded the team's respect and control I'd say "Fine, Let's Go!" ... but under this current, dismal "leadership" and culture of mediocrity, I'd rather stay home for the holidays, and hope for a 2014 featuring a whole new direction

Our season can't end soon enough. I say, the less the nation sees our team the better and that goes for recruits. WM will get another year if only because of injuries, but if you think he's capable of turning things around next yr especially with OL he's recruited then i got some swamp land I'll sell ya.

I can't stand watching this awful O an extra game. I have zero confidence these coaches can correct the issues. Wish the season were over now, in a way it already is.

No. The irrational, hyperemotional hysteria that always follows a loss...

It's not just a loss , it's a horrible display of a horrible coached team with absolutely no direction

Does Florida look good? Georgia at least has a star quarterback. South Carolina has a star defensive end. Florida has... Trey Burton?

I'm rational and very even keeled emotionally.

The meltdown that happened today was inexcusable.

I really have no argument with anyone who takes an extreme position.

It wasn't the loss, per se. It was the way we lost and the ramifications that may come from it that is so upsetting.

If we play like we play today? Losses to FSU and one of either Georgia or USCe. That would make it 7-5, which is about what is expected. If we are worse, than it is a loss of control issue, IMO.

We knew the team was lacking starting experience and depth before the season started. Rational fans expected 8-4, but this was before the injuries to Driskel and Easley.

Remember the 2004 loss to lowly Miss State? Leak played poorly and our green defense got burned at the end to lose the game. It culminated in the coach getting fired. But even a lame duck Zook rebounded, nearly beating Georgia and running the table to beat FSU at Doak Campbell (and FSU was a better team than Florida that year).

We played better as the defense finally started to gel. Zook was unlucky against Tennessee in getting robbed by Bobby Moreau, and lost a heartbreaker to 9-3 LSU when our DB got turned around by the WR at the end of the game. Florida was completely unfocused against Miss State and lost. Zook wasn't around for the bowl game, which Miami handily won.

We're talking about passing on bowl games to avoid a losing record and finding hope in injuries to upcoming opponents.

About as pathetic as it gets.

Let's see ... Anger. Denial. Acceptance. We're somewhere between the first two.
