I assume he's talking about Kendrick Norton. He's an OG, not DT but maybe we're looking at him for the defensive side of the ball? Regardless the kid is good and a UF lean.

Maybe someone that knows more can chyme in, but I thought we were def looking at him as a DT (and he wants that) and I read that we're letting Horton settle where he's comfortable.

As far as I know we are letting Horton choose which side of the ball to play on. My thought is that it will be on the side with less depth, which would equate to more/earlier playing time for him. But Norton could very easily play DT with his size.

Are you refering to Horton or Norton? It's weird how close their names are, especially if they were playing next to each other on the field.

Kendrick Norton is a former FSU commit from Jacksonville trinity. He is teammates with Jeff holland, and yes he wants to play DT and coach lawing is recruiting this guy as such.

I hope we can land both. That'd be a huge gain to our class

As far as both Ivie's are concerned, they are both underrated and I don't know why. It could be their program doesn't get much coverage from the recruiting websites. Per some gurus, Ivie 2 may be more natural than Ivey 1 at DT, and has more size coming out of HS. Ivie 1 is a strong dude and threw people around like ragdolls in HS wrestling. If Ivie2 has anywhere near the motor and drive of Ivie 1, we are getting a second good Ivie...

    Two. Joey and Andrew.

Joey was underrated last year. Andrew underrated this year.
Luke there is another... Your sister. Just kidding. Martez Ivey. But his last name is spelled differently, and he is definitely not underrated.

Have you been to College Stations campus? I really don't understand how kids would even want to play there. UT will own the state once they get back rolling.

Assuming they get rolling. TAMU playing against SEC teams has definitely elevated their program and they've out recruited Texas two or three years in a row.

As far as that campus goes. that's what Texas kids expect. They've grown up in a giant waste land. College Station is an upgrade to almost any other place in the state.

Either you haven't ever been to Texas or you have only been to Houston cause that's a pretty ignorant statement.

Just saw where Zach Abolverdi switched his prediction on 247Sports from TAMU to UF. We're still behind by a long ways, but this is a very good sign for us. If we have a good showing this year on the field, we may have a real shot for Mack.

Really admire our determination to stay after this kid. I think we may have a chance. It wouldn't hurt if A&M faltered this year.
