I've read that he is an Iowa State commitment. I just watched a video of him on Youtube and although he's listed at 4.69 in the 40, he looks faster than that plus he has some good moves.

We'll see if he visits. We probably need him badly but that doesn't mean we get him. I sure hope so though.

They need to hurry. He'll be a JR next season.

Why would he do well in spread but wasn't given many reps in our former offense?

Lots of lateral speed. Will be a lot better in space than between the tackles in a pro set. Can see him being used in a lot of sweep, jet, and toss plays/action....just my opinion.

I'm not a huge Valdez guy. I feel like he goes down way too easy. I almost wonder if they shouldn't give him a shot at receiver. I think he could be a good slot guy.

Normally I'd agree with this but given his area he knows why; he even mentioned that himself during an interview he did.

Jones looking solid so far in under armour game. Doing a lot more than Dalvin Cook at the moment

He's saving his best for his Heisman run.

he actually seems like more of muschamp type back than cook does. obviously cook is a great talent and i wish we had him but this guy seems to fit UF better. hope he comes on board

Lol. I'm not going to call him a bust or anything because of this game, but I thought I was going to see a reason he was so hyped on this board. Nothing so far.

Dalvin Cook is a baller, regardless as to how well he plays in this game. Having said that we have a lot of potential at the position so it's not a huge loss. He's going to be a handful to corral every year though. I've always been a little higher on Lane than Cook though I think he's probably going to the clown school as well.

Jones looks really good. Best back so far. Would be a great pickup if UF can flip him.

Jones has been doing well from what I've seen--tough running, doesn't go down easily, and shows pretty good hands in the receiving game too. Impressive game...he looks like he'd be a good fit here.

Wow, like I said earlier in this thread, I've followed Jones for awhile now, but this is the first time I've seen him live and he may be UNDERRATED. He's been the best RB in the game so far and has been Nitro's best player. God, I hope he comes to either Iowa State or Florida. Like, I like Florida, but I would sell my soul for Jones to come to ISU.

he has been the best RB on the field so far in this game. no wonder he got a bunch of buzz during the practices. he showed a bit of everything, good blocking, nice hands on the one catch, and ran tough. i like him, as i said earlier seems like he fits the mold of our program right now. or at least what we want to be

Maybe the coaches at UA seen what Dalvin did and figured they wouldn't give him anymore airtime because of that d%#$ move he pulled
