We are 104th in the NCAA in scoring points (21.8 ppg). It's absolutely pathetic how bad and embarrassing this offense is. The defense is giving up 13 ppg which is fantastic, but that means on average we are winning by only one possession. Meaning that we can lose with one possession. And with the way Will wants to run the offense by being the slowest plodding offense in the world, we have a razor thin line to walk for us to win.

Why would a coach handicap his team like that?

Why would you scheme an offense like that in the state of Florida. A state, that according to recruiting services and college coaches, wher we have the most speed and skiled h.s. players in the country!
    Maybe, they are all wrong.

We are soooooo slow. It's clearly to help the defense.

We could easily be a physical team that picks up the pace at least sometimes. Up tempo stuff can tire out the defense too. But that would mean the defense would be on the field more, and Muschamp won't have that.

I'd much rather go down aggressively trying to score and win than to constantly run down the clock hoping the other team doesn't beat us badly. If we had started pushing the limit offensively 2 years ago we'd be a better offensive team now. Offensively, we play from a scared perspective (oh no, something bad might happen) not a confident one.

Because UF's offensive package for this game wasn't aggressive. It wasn't designed to attack the LSU defense. It was game-planned for a low-scoring, defensive game based on what the UF defense and special teams would do.

After about two series, even Les Miles knew what we were going to do.

Thats pretty sad. To me, thats a move that states you're not even really trying to win the game.

Our offense is not good at scoring. We need more possessions to try to score not less.

Lau was more then happy to let us run clock in the 2d half, we did their job for them.
