:awkward: This SUCKS! WE need to get a handle on this misbehaviour.
I realize we're talking about teenagers but more importantly they are also student athletes and University of Florida starting football players.....
If this keeps up we will not end up in Atlanta - not to mention the NCG.
Is that not how you spell his name?
Guys, it is so easy to not do stupid things. So easy. So why are we consistently doing stupid things? Let me re-emphasize how easy it is to not do stupid things. It's easy. Really easy. Very very easy.
Gotcha yes Pittman!
I agree the kids should stop smoking weed. But UGA had to suspend a bunch of players last year for the first 4 games of the season because of weed and they made it to ATL.
stop it! stop breaking the freaking rules!
Kind of a strange article as its written as if it is gameday today and not tomorrow...
True but UGA didn't have the schedule we had last year --- and they don't have the schedule we have this year. We need all cylinders firing, was my point....
It's because it'll be printed tomorrow even though it's posted online today.
Is there an NCAA limit on boots allowed per game?
Some of you guys are so dramatic about this stuff. Yes, it is stupid and selfish and against civil, university, and team rules. But if most of the posters here had random traffic stops to determine their sobriety or random surveys of their speeding and parking tickets or something else that might be illegal but isn't subject to such a thing as random testing like it is for student-athletes, I suspect there would be a ton of stupid and selfish decisions brought to light.
Last I checked, they were 18-22 year old males and as I recall most 18-22 year old males tend to be on the stupid, selfish side. I know I was. Most days, I still am. It happens, they will learn their lessons hopefully, and they will grow out of it soon.
Shot of penicillin should do the trick.
If this is a valid analogy - you are a 1st string Florida Gator football player. That's the difference.....
ESPN alert says SIX guys out for opener.

I realize i'm going to get torched for this, but here goes: It is getting real difficult rooting for these young adults that are supposed to be representing the University. It's embarrassing. It was embarrassing 15 or so arrests ago, but we don't seem to learn.
I want to make clear, I am super impressed with Muschamp and his zero tolerance for this B.S., but I am pissed at these players that just don't get it. They are old enough to realize their actions.
It just isn't as fun when you win, but have players getting suspended or arrested. You can win, and do it the right way.
Whether its the idiots in the NFL like Riley Cooper and Aaron Hernandez, or the idiots on the team......they have made the University of Florida a national punchline. I'm not amused.
Its six when you add Morrison to the list
I don't see anyone could disagree - I applaud Coach Muschamp but let's get a handle on this so we can field a complete team for a change. Between injuries and players violating rules we are handicapping ourselves needlessly....
