    Why do we constantly have to have the why is weed illegal conversation when our players do it?

    It's somewhat legal in plenty of states. Athletes who play in those states still aren't permitted to smoke.

    There are rules. These players know the rules well. They shouldn't break them or they need to accept the consequences.

    If it was my team, I would probably tell them that I will kick them off the team if they violate the rule. Not because I think its the worst thing in the world, but because its about not being able to follow rules. I'm sure I can field just as good a team of players that can stay away from drugs for 1-4 years.

    Agreed that it would have absolutely no bearing on this situation were pot legal in Florida.

    Has there been any official word on this from Donovan or anyone else in the University? I have seen a lot of reports but no official word

    I really believe that Donovan knows that this can be a special season and is putting forth a zero tolerance policy to get the players in the right direction now.
