Ever notice that Billy D has never coached a player with a PHD? He won't put up with that crap. He probably would refuse to coach Dr. J just on principle.

It certainly could if people smoked the amount of weed that people smoked cigarettes. Inhaling smoke is inherently bad for you, whether it's tobacco, weed, or sugar cube. The primary advantage of weed in that regard is:

    1. Generally people don't smoke 2 packs of joints a day
    and
    2. Due to social and legal restrictions, they generally don't smoke it around people who aren't also smoking it

Weed doesn't cause cancer so what will they die from? Too happy? Die of hunger?

If it makes you feel good to believe there are no detrimental effects from smoking weed, then I say keep on toking. There is lots of info out there that says pot smoke inhalation is very bad for you.

Inhaling any particulate matter is bad for your lungs. Lung damage generally leads to cancer. Where weed is significantly better in this regard is the amount inhaled to get the effect (again, people smoke 20+ cigarettes a day fairly regularly).

Well from what I understand, any damage to your esophagus and lungs can create favorable conditions for cancer to form.

Point being, its not just weed that does that so its unnecessary to worry about it. Definitely not enough to worry about dying from it and especially not enough to cause any significant (if any) damage from second hand smoke.

It's obvious that the governments hard work demonizing marijuana is still clouding the judgement of a lot of people.

I've always been very naive on the subject - but was always FOR keeping it illegal. What got me was considering why alcohol should be legal, but marijuana shouldn't be.

Im tired of the leaks of reports from sources. If it happened, then announce it. If there was a leak, then remove their access and stop the leaks.

I agree with Bengerman. It's so ridiculous at this point. It doesn't matter if it should be legal. It is against team rules.

I'm not going to go overboard because its only 3 games, but this shouldn't be an issue and these guys aren't so supplanted in their role with the team that someone can't come and take minutes away from them.

    Just mind-bottling...

Ugh, no it isn't. I'm for legalization, but I'm also against illogical pro-marijuana nonsense. If you tell me you're vaping then I'll concede there are probably no health detriments. But smoking is bad for you, whether you're smoking cigarettes, weed or vitamin C. And long-term smoking any of those things - filling your lungs with particulate - is in all likelihood going to increase your odds of getting lung cancer.

Sorry I read you wrong, but regardless that comment stands for a lot of anti legalization people. Not enough people are willing to see passed the government's bs.

I'm pretty sure support for legalization is at an all-time high. There's really no reason to pretend marijuana is entirely harmless, either, and the pro-pot crowd can be really obnoxious with the fervent misinformation and evangelizing, too.

Like, I think pot should be legal but then I hope pot/stoner "culture" fades into the sunset.
