    Here is more
Florida kept its hot streak in the 2019 recruiting class going on Saturday morning when Nashville (Tenn.) East Nashville Magnet School athlete Jashon Watkins committed to the Gators. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect also had offers from Oklahoma, Kentucky, Ole Miss and others.

As a sophomore, Watkins completed 51 of 96 pass attempts for 519 yards and five touchdowns to three interceptions. He also rushed for 357 yards and four touchdowns, while also hauling in 10 passes for 108 yards and two more touchdowns. Some project Watkins to be a safety in college, but Florida is recruiting him as an athlete at this time.

247Sports has yet to rate Watkins at this time.

My Take-not a lot of film to watch but he looks good on defense. Get him here and figure it out. Is a player.

Well, that's now what I'm hearing too.
Will have to make changes on the list.

Well now I'm getting conflicting info on just what the Commitment situation is with Jashon. Looks like the NO is coming from his Coach. That Jashon has gone silent. One speculation is that the Coach wanted Jashon to wait before he made his announcement. That the Coach wanted to be involved in it. So until it can be clarified exactly what's going on here, we'll leave Jashon on the 2019 Commitment list.

Wish Mom, Dad, and Jashon would tell the coach to piss off.

No, all of the sudden everything is quiet about it. Don't know what that means but at least for now I'm going to leave Jashon on the Commitment list. Hate to take his name off and then out it all back on. Does take a few minutes to do it.

That is absolute bullshit. The coach needs to mind his own business. How in the world does this coach have gall to tell this kid to back out of his commitment, be silent and allow him to be involved?

The parents need to tell him to pound sand.

So far I don't know if he is a Commitment or not.

    Doesn't appear to be.

There seems to be buzz this morning about 4-star WR Justin Watkins.

He was supposed to commit on Thursday but has changed his mind and pushed it back to NSD and may be coming for an OV to UF

    A few stats
    6’0, 172lbs, WR/RB
    Decommitted from Texas in Feb.

Emory Jones seems to be recruiting him at the UAAAG.

Nice to see EJ at work and renewed interest from Watkins. He seems to be pretty flaky on where wants to play. Put him way down the list right now. Copeland, Schwartz, Bush, Ross, Harold Joiner, Preston, Warren Thompson then Watkins.

FWIW sounds like he has some grade issues and Alabama and LSU may be backing off for that reason.

Also sounds like he’s been killing it during the UAAAG practices.

Watkins isn’t the same as a lot of those taller long stride receivers listed above
He is quick cuts and acceleration. I want him. He can also play running back....

Agree, yet Copeland and Schwartz cover anything Watkins can do. Harold Joiner can also play RB. It's what he prefers. As a big fast WR and RB. Checks better boxes if versatility is the key. Don't rule out a cover OLB for Joiner either. Would love Bush or Ross, just think chances are slim, right now at least. Long way to February 7.

Equally can argue Watkins can check boxes or do what those others guys can. Having seen him play this season he is a very versatile elite athlete. Can play a number of positions and is a football player, something I question on schwartz.

Sign him...don't care. Improvement for sure on what we've got and can mold this kid into different positions if needed. Def a huge take.

Bama backing off because of grades? That's a new one.
